plastic bags

I am beginning to find it difficult to buy fruit and veg at a supermarket because as you say, everything is wrapped in plastic. I do not want 6 apples, I may only want one, everything is packaged for a family. I could not read about the whale it was too upsetting.

Yes it has but that doesn't stop the unnecessary plastic packaging.

We've had plastic bag charges for years in Wales-I thought the rest of the country had gone the same way?

...the whale found dead with his gut full of plastic bags broke my heart...use of them has to stop!!! I.like most people.use shopping bags but everythings wrapped in plastic...newspaper supplements-in plastic bags....bread in plastic bags..fruit.veg etc etc....I DONT buy fruit&veg in plastic bags....but millions do!!! At the checkout yesterday...whilst using my own bags..the cashier put the fish I had bought in a plastic bag...I told her I didnt want it and she then looked annoyed!!!!...our planet is suffering and its heartbreaking.....
