I wrote on here a couple of weeks ago about maybe moving abroad if OH gets offered the job. I had loads of very encouraging replies for which I thank you. We are still waiting to hear.
I will start to receive my state pension next month, whoopee, I will be 63 years and 8 months, thought I would receive it at 60 but that's another story. My OH is only 61, my toy boy !!, and will have to work till he is 66. That is nearly 5 years between me retiring and him retiring.
Is anyone else in this situation ? What do you do to fill your time ? I have joined the U3A, see my DD's and DGD's, but they don't live close so I go and stay for a few days, but that still leaves a lot of time on my own. I have some hobbies and if we don't go abroad will probably do some voluntary work. What do others do when one partner retires a lot earlier than the other. Hopefully there will be someone in the same situation.
