Good morning to you all, a little late! A bit dull and uncertain weather wise, but thankfully not as bitterly cold as it was at the beginning of last week. Our son is coming to lunch, so we shall be watching his dvds of Mrs. Browns Boys, not my favourite, but we love to hear him laugh out loud, and chuckle. Enjoy your days.

Grey and damp here, relaxing with large mugs of tea, the iPad and tv before we get ready and go and look after small DGS for the day. Will be exhausted later this evening so plan ready meals and large G&T's and some drama on tv.Have a nice Sunday everyone.smile

Morning All

Bright and sunny here in Norfolk and no frost so I anticipate a morning clearing up a bit in the front garden. Our luxuriant Scots pine has left drifts of dead needles all over the front drive making it a bit slippy. The tree surgeon says we don't stand a hope in hell of getting it taken down (preservation order on it), but he should be able to get permission for a bit of judicious pruning come autumn. That's what I'd hoped for!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Wall to wall sunshine in South Yorkshire this morning and a lovely day in prospect. It's very cold though. I have promised DH I will make him some coconut tarts today, but I am also hoping we will find time to take the car out and get used to all the new bells and whistles. I can't get my head round the fact that it doesn't have a handbrake, just a bit of a button thingy. Not sure I like that. Have a good day folks!

Good morning all, lovely crisp bright morning here in Liverpool, moochy day for me but only after I have tidied up.

harrigran Sun 29-Jan-17 08:15:40

Good morning, -1 and a harsh frost here making a very pretty winter picture. DH has just brought my first cup of tea, cheers.

Morning, chucks. I've had breakfast no.1 (coffee (2), nutty flapjack, handful of Skittles) and cleaned my teeth. Now back in bed to listen to the remaining half of a spikedonline podcast (see MSM thread in Chat Forum) and knit a few rows of what I'm calling my New Lanark jumper.

Then I've some wall painting to do. I started doing an extra bit terracotta and wasn't sure, so I consulted the family colour sybil and she said it's fine so I'll carry on.

Morning All. Damp and grey in our corner of Somerset. Two overnight granddaughters still asleep so having a quiet cuppa. They 'pre-ordered' scrambled egg for breakfast smile before we take them home. Not much else today so can chill out later. Hope Sunday is kind to everyone.

Morning Mick, Nina and Kitty

If there are a couple of portions of you lunch going begging Kitty can we have them, I just fancy your Sunday lunch.

Well Nina no pottering for me today I am putting on my pumps, tennis gear and jumping up and down in the lounge for the next few hours whilst watching the tennis Final in Oz between two greats Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer. DH has promised to keep the cups of coffee coming grin

Whatever you are doing Folks have a good day.

Morning *Mick, morning Nina, morning all.

It's a bit dank and drippy in North Leicestershire but it is warmer than of late.

DD1 and 2 dgc are coming for lunch today while DSiL gets on with the decorating. I think the lack of a fully functioning kitchen is getting to her! Coq au vin and roulade for lunch.

Enjoy your days everyone! sunshine
