Good Morning Thursday

Sorry I didn't notice this post earlier so I could boast about the beautiful sunrise and weather we are having in the north of Scotland. Sunshine all day and not a cloud in the sky. Managed an hour in the garden this afternoon and it really lifted the "January feeling". I have some daffodils partially out and took a photograph as probably by the time the bloom fully they will be covered in snow!! Still a very long way to go to Spring!

Careful roses, my sister once stood at the French window to chase the sparrowhawk and when she flapped her arms he flew straight towards her. She said she had never slammed a door so fast but the hawk swerved at the last second and flew away.

Grey here, but milder.Am sat in conservatory on 'sparrowhawk duty' ready to chase the thing away, grrrr, have done it twice already this morning ( can't stay here forever!)

Good morning to you all, especially Nina have a lovely day. The weather here is decidedly dreary, a little like me, can't seem to shake off this not interested feeling; I am sure though, that when I can get out into the garden, and bend without feeling everything is going to break, I will feel better. Sorry, that is a bit of a moan, so I will shut up, - Enjoy your days.

Good morning all! Metal grey sky outside but not complaining as we have had several lovely, crisp, sunny days recently.

Happy Birthday, nina ! This was among the presents I received for mine last Thursday. It made me laugh but isn't really fully true!

Good morning from a below freezing Colchester. No frost or fog this morning but it's breezy and the forecast is including a large wind chill factor.
Blood test this morning to do the tests that weren't ticked last time-the ones I went in for!
Then off to MIL and SisIL for lunch.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Happy Birthday, Nina! Cold and gloomy in South Yorkshire this morning; what a change from yesterday when we had wall to wall sunshine. This morning we are having another look at the car we are considering buying. I hope it will be resolved one way or the other. Then, time permitting, the windows need cleaning! Good morning, dark and dry with no frost obvious but it is only 1 degree.
Yesterday's funeral left me chilled and tired and had to lie down when I returned home, quiet day today.

Still and grey outside. It doesn't look quite as cold as I can't see any ice on our little pond so it must be a little warmer.

We went over to check on our boat yesterday and make sure the covers had stayed put (she's out on the bank). The broad was iced over with ducks and cormorants wandering around on it. When a boat came past and broke the ice it made the most wonderful noise.

Staying in today and sorting old photos. At least that's the aim. There's rather a lot of old photos, many inherited and all muddled. A job I keep putting off starting.
