Contributors to Gransnet can be so witty! Many of the threads are a joy to read and provide plenty to chuckle and laugh about.

On another forum I am on, we used to have a "Quote of the Day". This then became "Quote of the week" and eventually petered out.

So I've started a thread here for people to re-post the best things said by others in other threads.

- You can't post your own quotes
- You should give the name of the thread and who said it.
