Good morning everyone.

I've actually posted earlier, but it didn't "go"

Pleased to hear that the Environment Agencies flood defences held and no one suffered any distress.

Blue sky but cold here.

I must have eaten unknowingly some gluten yesterday, probably the prawns with sauce from M&S - I didn't check the label as stomach is being a pain this morning.

Had to grin at daughters message to son on face book
" trying to cram 4 days worth of revision into 1 day, shows you have the time management skills of a carrot"

Glad I'm past all that.

Enjoy your day everone

Good morning everybody from a bitterly cold but bright corner of N Bucks. There are some clouds forming now which may not bode well, but being about as far from the coast as you can be in any direction no danger of flooding here so I was glad to hear those in danger from the floods are safe.

Good morning from a brightening Colchester. Forecast to be cold and sunny today.
Shopping this morning and wine tasting at a friend's house tonight.

Morning all! Woke at 6.15 and read for an hour and then fell back asleep. Woke again at 8.45! Had friends for meal last night so late evening. Must take dog out now! Husband still snoring away! Happy Saturday to everyone.

Good morning everyone!
Cold, slight wind, hardly any trace of Thursday night's snowstorm left here in Southwest London.
Still having problems with GN website.
Granddaughter2 had fabulous 4th birthday yesterday and informed me that she is "really, really big" now! First of the 4 January birthdays in our family.
Have a good, healthy Saturday everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Very cold in South Yorkshire, but it looks like we have a bright day in prospect. We have nothing much planned today except some food shopping and I have promised DH I'd make some coconut tarts. Have a happy day folks.

Good morning all!

Bit late this morning so it is already light and fairly quiet in North Leicestershire. There is a lovely pink tinge to the sky which could be ominous!

Usual Saturday things today - papers, florist - but also making some cakes to take to the nursing home tomorrow as it is Mum's 93rd birthday! cupcake

I hope you have an absolutely lovely day nina and I'm glad you stayed dry!

Enjoy Baghdad, Kate!

Morning All. Dry, cold and fairly light in our corner of Somerset. Volunteering this morning so best get a wriggle on. Sounds positive all round nina. Hope Saturday is kind to everyone.

Good morning from a very dark Cheshire.

harrigran Sat 14-Jan-17 08:05:45

Good morning, cloudy and dry and the wind has eased. We didn't have any more snow but it is cold.

Morning Mick Kitty wherever you are and All.

So pleased Nina you were safe from the sea.

We are expecting a cold sunny day in the Thames Valley.

Off to see Ali Baba tonight in downtown Bagdad grin

Good morning all from France. Crystal clear sky, shimmering low moon and bright stars started my morning off beautifully. -❄️

Morning Mick and everyone.
Dark here but I can't hear the gales we were expecting. We were on coastal flood last last night in this area but all calm as far as I know.
We're being allowed to see GS x2 later for first time in two months later
