Anyone who has noticed that she hasn't posted for a while might not be surprised to learn that she's unable to receive PMs.

We all know what that means.

I may have been called something previously though Jamila so maybe not so new (will leave that up to the thread police). People that put suggestions across due to their own insecurities and wanting to be part of a "set" annoy the frig out of me.

Post on a thread and say what you personally feel on any given subject, however blunt or not, so what. People that carry things on and try to do some sort of creepy detective work on a previous poster really piss me off.

mcem Mon 16-Jan-17 20:26:36

2 intriguing comments still.
You think it's sad if someone keeps track of individual comments and who said what to whom.
You like ankers.
Interesting.......verrrry interesting!

Jalima Mon 16-Jan-17 20:25:22

I am merely repeating it merlotgran
wink
but I suppose that is perpetuating the myth of ridiculousness

Ana Mon 16-Jan-17 20:24:16

I'm not trying to name anyone. And I couldn't give a damn what you think of me, aliveandkicking! grin

merlotgran Mon 16-Jan-17 20:21:59

Is ridiculous referring to the poster or the post? grin

Jalima Mon 16-Jan-17 20:20:45

I would have probably liked who this ridiculous OP is posting about.
The thing about the subject of the OP was that she could also be very kind unlike some newer posters who throw around accusations.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 16-Jan-17 20:18:32

Are you training to be a spy Ana? Why on earth would it bother you so much to try to name whoever. People that do that are pretty sad.

Ana Mon 16-Jan-17 20:17:24

Do they? confused They just...happen?

stillaliveandkicking Mon 16-Jan-17 20:15:31

Over active imaginations do tend to happen when one is on-line frequently.

Ana Mon 16-Jan-17 20:13:17

petra*, I can't take the credit, I'm afraid - it was mcem who posted it first! grin

Jalima Mon 16-Jan-17 20:09:53

I have only ever seen the one clique in action on gransnet.
Now I have a vision of grey-haired old ladies in Norah Batty tights marching and wielding wooden spoons, all shouting 'We're in The Clique', ignore us at your peril'.

confused now, was GJ in or out of 'The Clique' Ankers?
If so, I am not in it as she called me 'silly' when I first joined (first week if I remember shock)

However, I bear no grudges moi wink and would like to know how Petit Minou is.
And I thought soontobe was rather sweet so I don't think she is Ankers.

petra Mon 16-Jan-17 20:05:58

Ana Obisoon, love it grin

stillaliveandkicking Mon 16-Jan-17 19:07:28

I like people who cause a stir and don't go along with others just to be "friendly" join an on line clique. I like Ankers and I would have probably liked who this ridiculous OP is posting about.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 16-Jan-17 18:34:49

Cliques happen in whatever manner, whether on line or in real life. Many show their true colours when this is stated grin Don't they!

DaphneBroon Mon 16-Jan-17 17:06:29

"IN one" not "on one!"

DaphneBroon Mon 16-Jan-17 17:05:35

I sort of remember this type of behaviour from a previous member soontobe who would post the most outrageous things. The kindest reaction then was to ignore her delusions at the time, but it was hard. I think Bellasnana has got it on one!
(Post at 14.08)

Ana Mon 16-Jan-17 17:01:29

I think Obisoon Ankers likes being the centre of attention...

kittylester Mon 16-Jan-17 17:00:57

That's one more than exists Ankers! You seem to know a lot for a new member.

So can I Stansgran wink

DaphneBroon Mon 16-Jan-17 16:58:55

Also the Cookie Monster, Elvis down the chip shop and the Loch Ness monster?
Only those three are true grin

Ankers Mon 16-Jan-17 16:54:04

I have only ever seen the one clique in action on gransnet.

downtoearth Mon 16-Jan-17 16:52:54

Ankers my post 13.1.17 22.31
In response to your post 13.1.17 17.29
I asked you to elaborate as to why you thought I held a supporting role in the mythical clique,......would you care to do so now

Ana Mon 16-Jan-17 16:45:18

Ankers, I don't think granjura was saying toodle-pip to me personally. I seem to remember I had left that thread well before then.

I'ts no secret that she and I didn't agree on certain things, but I certainly wasn't the only one!

mcem Mon 16-Jan-17 16:22:53

I have tried but can't resist joining in!
If a clique involves a group of posters with similar opinions then I have to put soop 's kitchen gang in the frame. Dastardly lot with their pets, cakes and generally being kind to each other.
dj is a forceful character who robustly defends her views but quite a few take a very different stand. Are they all in a clique?
I've noticed that more than one has disagreed with obisoon ankers. Yet another clique?
What about the crafting clique or the low-carb lot?
How outrageous are these apparent 'conspiracies' going to get??

Stansgran Mon 16-Jan-17 16:16:44

I can see now why people believe in flying saucers and aliens and that the moon landings were faked and that the CIA or the FBI shot Kennedy. I can ,really I can.

Ankers Mon 16-Jan-17 16:06:10

To those who believe it already, yes. grin

Quite. Once a person can see the clique, more and more evidence mounts.
It cant be unseen.
It just becomes more and more obvious for more people to recognise and see for themselves.
