Good Morning Thursday

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Grey, cold, but calm and dry in South Yorkshire. I don't know if we are to get any snow; I think (I hope) it may just miss us. I'm glad the wind has died down, but we have a huge pile of dead leaves round the front doorstep and in front of the garage so I shall have to set to and clear those away. I don't know where they all come from. There aren't actually any trees in our or the adjacent roads! Have a happy day, and those who have the snow, take care in it.

Good morning from a bluey grey skied Oxfordshire, noticably colder today ( nipped out to feed birds) and sleety snow on it's way this afternoon.A day in I think, a bit of housework and a good book.

Everything clear and calm down here in Letchworth Hertfordshire. There is a little bit of sun trying to break through the cloud and a small flurry of wind amid the leaves of the shrubs and trees, but nothing major. Lets hope it stays that way.

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. Must pop out for bread and milk before the rain and snow arrives later. DH wants to go for a haircut I might just let him go on his own and bring the groceries back so that I can hibernate.

Clear and still in Norfolk and my outdoor thermometer says it's 4C. Loads of hype in the local rag about the Big Freeze that's on it's way - apparently the rain coming in during the day may turn to snow and may leave a dusting which may lay! Unlikely with the ground so warm, but ...

Clearing out the pantry today to make room for the marmalade I made yesterday. Plus, it's time it had a clean and the spiders in the wine rack got some exercise.

Much less windy, and dry at present. Snow is forecast for later, but I am off to Glasgow on the 12:47 train. I might see some through the window. 4yr old GS is having speech therapy tomorrow so I'm needed to look after the others, and supervise any ongoing learning. Back home on Sunday.

Good morning all. There is sign of rain on the windows. All very still at present. According to the weather forecast man we are going to get a whole range of weather today gradually getting colder. Thats a British winter for you.

Good Morning from another cold corner of N Bucks. Glad tobhear the good news from Dubai, sue how lovely that you could get out to see him. So we are in for a cold snap are we? Batch of soup making might be on the cards here plus topping up the freezer -what am I saying, I'd need a shoehorn to get more in. I inherited my mum's "siege" mentality and was glad of it when I succumbed to the "lurgy" last weekend. Keep warm and keep safe everybody!

Snow due in Thames Valley this afternoon so we are going to get in a few essentials this morning and have a cheeky coffee and freshly made apricot Danish at our favourite pub/cafe.

Kitty I came bottom in Art 3 terms running so here is another non artistic person, however our WI had an afternoon on flower arranging which I reluctantly went to and surprisingly found it fascinating, enjoy your session.

Oh lucky you whitewave that'll be me this time next year. I hope I enjoy it as much as you. I'm a little apprehensive about it

Too dark to say what the weather is like but the forecast is for heavy rain this afternoon turning to snow after dark. Time will tell.

The weather in North Leicestershire is unremarkable at the moment and I hope that it remains that way as I am venturing into the Vale of Belvoir today and I can manage without snow!

For my birthday, DH bought me a day's course called 'Making the Most of Supermarket Flowers' but, as I am the least artistic person you will ever meet, I suspect he will have wasted his money! Still the drive should be nice - if it doesn't snow!
