Yes Liz, do hope your DH is fully operational before too much longer. Lovely to see an appreciative thread on the OH, wondering if it reaches the same number of posts as the disposing of OH thread does.
As well as everything else my DH has a dodgy and very painful hip. His appointment with the consultant is not for another 44 days. Finding that I am doing a lot of what he normally does too though that is not a problem. It is the grumpy bad temper that is wearing me down. Well, suppose the old chap is in pain. Aaaaaargh!

Tizliz your OH has my sympathy. I slipped a disc in my early forties and if I thought childbirth was painful, I didn't know the half of it. Recovery is a slow process. It must be very frustrating for both of you.

I wasn't very kind or helpful there and I apologize. I really hope your H is soon well again?

You are very lucky, I have to do all that, see thread on eliminating husbands and be thankful, be very thankful ?

I haven't been posting much lately as my OH has damaged a disc and can hardly walk. So I am having to do everything. It is only then you realise how much men do, from chopping veg for dinner (he is beginning to manage this again), to picking up after the dogs ?, putting the bins out (nearly got blown away today), helping Tesco delivery man/woman, locking up, opening garage door (I am too short). I now know I don't have the patience to be a full time carer.

So please get better soon I miss you
