Good Morning All from a grey South London. Just heard on the tv that snow is on it's way later this week but no sure if it will reach us!

It's wet and windy in Tynedale. I'm sitting in an unheated home waiting for the heating engineer to come to remove my old boiler and install the new one. That being said, he gave us this date, but we haven't seen him since. Here's hoping, it's not nine o'clock yet☺.

Up very early (6) as being full of cold was too snuffley for staying abed.Watched the birds in the garden with early cup of tea, and then watched Peter Pan Goes Wrong which we had recorded.The most hilarious thing thing ever.....ROFL

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Very grey in South Yorkshire this morning and rain on the way. Not sure if we will see the sun all week and snow is forecast for Thursday ?. DH had another difficult night with his cough and ended up migrating into the spare bedroom though I didn't hear him go. Ironing for me this morning and then I will probably do the school run myself this afternoon and himself can stay at home. Have a happy day, folks.

Good morning all from a sneezy, coughy, streaming with cold N Bucks
DD and DGS went back to London on Saturday but have left me with their cold(?)/flu lurgy which kicked in yesterday. I wouldn't have missed having them though and am just glad I kept it at bay until I had got them home!
Don't think DH will be too impressed by not being waited on hand and foot as per usual but after a night of very little sleep but a lot of sneezing I am hunkered down in the spare room and don't plan to be out for the rest of the morning at least. ???

Weather still grumpy.

Had to go to Pevensy last night to rescue GSs whilst their parents waited for a breakdown lorry to tow their car and huge trailer full of go karting paraphanalia
. So we had a car load of 4peoplecand 3 dogs - one the size of a small pony. Took over 2 hrs travel and then we waited for DD to turn up so I fed the boys and did some housework. On top of that our dog fussed all night I think he needed the bathroom but won't go in the garden so I am a tad tired this morning.

But that is the glory of being retired!! I can do absolutely nothing now if I so choose. So today will be a little light housework and easy meal.

North Leicestershire is quite calm and not particularly cold this morning but there is heavy rain in the forecast.

Today, I have a mountain of ironing to tackle and then a shift in the library this afternoon. DH is going to start to reorganise the study so I'm staying out as much as possible!

Good morning from Lancashire. It stayed foggy all day yesterday again, it's looking better today but still dark so can't really tell.

Dry, still and very, very dark here in Norfolk. I expect the rain is heading our way though Mick.

Nothing planned for today, although, if it doesn't rain, we may go to look for wood edging for our DD2's lawn. It's our Christmas present to them!
