It is a tribute to you Ann that your ex DIL is inviting you round.

Ķnow the feeling. We are going through troubled times at the moment as many of you on here are.
I know it will pass, I just wish it would speed up a bit!

Annsixty, and others who are sad - it's not the best time of the year, but we're all supposed to be full of joy and seasonal spirit.
I've been feeling a bit low, but no real reason, TG.
As Cherrytree wrote - if winter comes can spring be far behind? Or something like that.

DH has been up and down all night in a tizzwaz and is currently checking the car AGAIN in his PJs, Family + Guest due in half an hour, and me with the worst bleeding nose cold ever. Cope! Cope! Cope!

Enjoy your bubbly and bagels annsixty. As if life isn't hard enough for you this knee business is so tiring too. You are an inspiration and don't think you're not!!

I don't think you have been a misery at all, Ann life is hard, it is good to be able to put something down on paper and post it to people who will read it and feel for you. Words are not enough, but hopefully those on here will help - you must be able to open a florists now (sorry if that sounds flippant, it is just me!)

Ps We are being picked up at 10 to go to our exDiL for a glass of something sparkling and bagels?

I have been a misery and I apologise for it, my knee op took more out of me than I realised and I am feeling my age☹️
My S has serious problems with his bi-polar "partner " so he not only can't support me but I have his worries and problems as well, but with patience and time it will all get sorted.

After 8 years I'm able to enjoy Christmas again. The Vale has been dark and the journey steep and long and I've not forgotten but I'm getting there.
