I'm gearing up for the Christmas family invasion starting today. I won't have any down time for GN until the new year, so this is just to send all you Gransnetters best wishes for Christmas. And for those for whom it is a sad or lonely time, I am sending flowers. Thanks to you all for your company this last (at times difficult) year. From Jud.

An Irish blessing for you dear friends:

'The light of the Christmas star to you,
The warmth of home and hearth to you,
The cheer and good will of friends to you,
The hope of a childlike heart to you,
The joy of a thousand angels to you,
The love of the Son,
And God’s peace to you.'

Hoping you all have a day of peace and goodwill. tchsmile

Enjoy Christmas however you can. If you feel stressed out or unappreciated keep calm and remember that all the advertising rubbish we see is not real life.

Be happy with what enjoyment you can get out of the weekend.

Thanks to those who have offered support to others over the year even if it is just a virtual hug.
We have shelter and enough food and can keep warm.
we are not all having

Don't take this wretched song for granted. Simply having a wonderful Christmastime
