Exploding soup

Maranta You say you took the cover off? Did it have an air hole? If not, then that may be the reason it exploded. I have a lovely plastic bowl, from Poundstretchers or B & M bargains, that has a clip on lid with a hole in the top I can close. It is ideal for soups, beans, peas, that sort of thing.

I love soup, ate a lot recently due to chest infection and being sick and nausea due to hormones. I need some bread but the nausea is stopping me getting out! Food delivery on Wednesday, yeah!

Maranta I hope you are alright and didn't get scalded, you really didn't need all that did you!

Agree about the 'live' yoghurt. That is the best way to start eating again but then if you aren't well and haven't got such a thing in the fridge then you tend to go for what you have. Hope you are back 'in the pink' before all the festivities start.

Good idea Nelliemoser, I only like Greek yoghourt too.

Maranta Try eating just plain yogurt for a day or so. I use the greek strained sort. I find the yogurt culture can help the gut flora to calm down your insides.

It said on the tin Salmon,broccoli and watercress. I've just read the ingredients list and Salmon is way down the list. It was Baxters make. I used to like their soups but I've gone off them now!

Oh dear. Maybe for the best if you're recovering from intestinal problems! Beans eh...!
