Good morning everyone. Brighter, less grey than yesterday. Hosting an afternoon discussion(DH) and an evening(me) today in our house so will do some tidying and preparing.
Yesterday's BBC "Midweek" recording fun and will be broadcast between Christmas and NewYear. Guests were Nigel Havers , Tom Kerridge and a lovely man who grew up in care in Brixton and has written award winning young people's fiction( ashamed I cannot remember his name), and the talented, mellifluous Katie Melua who sang live with her choir from her native Georgia( country, not state). Libby Purves great. We all enjoyed it but odyssey on underground getting to BBC radio during rush hour yesterday morning!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A murky start in South Yorkshire this morning though it was clear, moonlit and starry at 0300 when I was prowling round the house coughing and sneezing..... I'm sick of this cold. I have to go into town today, though, to pick up GS's Christmas present from John Lewis and finish off other bits of Christmas shopping. Onward and upward. Have a good day, folks.

Morning All. Bright is our corner of Somerset although weather forecaster on the radio tells us more cloud is in its way. Hope he's wrong! Marzipan going on the cake today and making some soup with some sad looking veg. That's about all. Hope Wednesday is kind to you.

Good Morning all. Very dark still here in Cheshire but its not raining at present. The weather forecast for the rest of the week did not sound good.

Good morning everyone.
The dawn is just breaking in Tynedale. It's dry, fairly clear and quite breezy. We were going to lunch with my sister and brother in law but plans have changed. So it's a stay at home day. I'll use it to finish off wrapping up the Christmas gifts. I might make another elf hat.
Have a good day.

Morning all!

It's a bit murky in North Leicestershire. Wrapping and ironing today and then DH and DS1 are off to the football so I will have the house to myself this evening!

Thank you Kate! Sil seemed much brighter.

Enjoy your days everyonesunshine.

Good morning Mick and everybody from (again) a dark corner of N Bucks . Dawn is just glimmering and it doesn't seem to be raining, but that is as much as I can say so back to my cup of tea, and I hope you are all equal to whatever today throws at you!

Good morning Mick and All.

Dark but not cold in the Thames Valley.

Off to have my hair cut, a bit of Christmas shopping and a delicious Italian coffee.
