Morning Mick and everyone.
It's still very dark here too I was surprised when I woke. I thought it was earlier.
I can see it's clear and we've had rain.
I'm still in bed and intend staying for a while as H is away in London.

Morning Mick and All.

Mild and cloudy in Thames Valley, enjoyed our trip to Kew Gardens Xmas lights last night especially the hot mulled wine and toasted marshmallows. smile

Feel tired this morning so tea, IPad and book for me now.

Enjoy your weekend whatever you are all up to.

Morning All. Dark and damp in our corner of Somerset. Nursing the flipping cold in bed this morning. Feel wretched but this too will pass - better be quick, though! Hope Saturday is kind to you.

Good Morning all! Dark and mild here this morning, with glimmers of pink in the sky, so rain to come I fear.
Off to London to collect DD2 and DGS (7 months) for the weekend as SIL is working flat out she did offer to come by train, but having experienced the train to and from Birmingham yesterday I am glad I am fetching them. So crowded! And so many people with suitcases! I think trying to do it with a baby, a bag and a buggy would be a nightmare.
Lovely day yesterday at older DGSs' school Nativity. Blubbed at Away in a Manger (of course!!)

Good morning from a grey and dismal Colchester. Family lunch at my Sister's and all off to a 70th Birthday party this evening.
So I am writing cards to save stamps this morning.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Very grey in South Yorkshire, but dry at least. I am coughing today hmm - probably caught it from GS who was poorly with it when he stayed here last weekend. Glad to say he's on the mend. DH is going to the football this afternoon so I am going to make my mince pies. Finding room for them in the freezer might just be a problem but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Have a happy day folks.

Good morning from Cheshire. Some high cloud with gaps in it. No idea what the weather will be.

Good morning, temperature in double figures again. DH is preparing scrambled egg for me and I am still in bed, such luxury.

Morning all!

I'm very late this morning. I had a 'funny' night and eventually went to sleep in the children's bedroom (luckily there were no children there!) and didn't wake up till nearly 8 am. It is a bit murky in North Leicestershire.

After I've been to the village I am making breadsauce. Does anyone else make it for the whole family? I use 3 loaves and a cows worth of milk. Finding space for that lot in my freezer could be an issue too.

Very low grey cloud here in Letchworth this morning, but it is definitely milder. Am off to the Christmas Tree Festival at the local church this morning followed by their Carol Service this afternoon if i can make it. Have a great day everyone what ever you are doing or not doing!!!! lol

Good morning everyone.
It's cloudy and mild inthe Tyne Valley again today. I'm resting, after tripping up in my living room and landing heavily on the boxes containing my Christmas decorations! This was two days ago, and I think I've bruised my ribs. Went to work this morning, but it was a struggle. I've got two mornings off now. Let's hope I am less stiff and sore on Tuesday.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Good just about morning everyone.
Back from a 6 mile walk along the canal into Bath for a coffee, bit drizzly but good to get out.

Nothing much planned for today, it's raining properly now so very good excuse for sitting down with the papers ?
