I am so glad you enjoyed the show (actually very as I had heard it is wonderful) just the thing to brighten up a dark and dismal December day. Yes it does seem milder, although like you I am in pitch darkness.
Taking DH to MKH for another blood transfusion at 9, he has been awake since at least 5 I don't know if it is worry or the early start, just trying not to fuss.
Then I MUST write those Christmas cards!

My day is pretty simple. Getting the car cleaned, going into the loft and scramble around for Christmas decorations. Why do they spend the year hiding so I can never find them?
This evening off to my daughters village Steyning and the Christmas market.

GD age 3 with me for the day, might do some baking. Might take her to see her great grandma, we'll see how the day goes.

Wednesday means ladies coffee morning in town.

What a difference in the weather! -3 yesterday, 13°c this morning. Very mild and windy. Tynedale hasn't woken up yet, even though it's gone eight o'clock it's still quite dark. I dislike the dark days before Christmas. My house is in disarray with dining room furniture in the hall and living room while I wait for the decorator to come.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A bit grey this morning but signs that it might clear. I am waiting to see if I will have to dash off and look after GS this morning. He was off school with a shocking cough yesterday and if he's off again today I will step in while DD goes to work. I can't remember the last time he had a day off ill, poor chap. Glad to hear you enjoyed your theatre trip, Mick! A nice precursor to Christmas! Have a good day folks.

Off out to lunch with the ladies from the bowls club, which means leaving the other half to manage on his own, he really is no good at that, as my stay in hospital proved, so everything will be set and ready for him, but will the washing up be done?
At this time of year I miss the days when I worked at a school, and all the Christmas preparations were taking place, the buzz! Enjoy your days.

Very grey here in Cheshire. I dressed for yesterdays temperature this morning. I think I will need to take off a layer. I'm determined to get my cards written this mornimg But I will probably distract myself.

Just popped back to say that the nativity play was wonderful, acted out like an episode of strictly come dancing, it was very emotional for me because this time last year I didn't know whether I would be around to see this year's play.

Good afternoon! Really mild here in Perthshire, about 11 degrees when I went to pick the nursery kids up. That's almost a summer's day if it wasn't for the grey clouds and the rain.

Harrigran went to see GSs nativity last night and by coincidence it was also acted out as SCD! Wouldn't be the same one, would it? My DGS2 was the Craig Revel Horwood judge in the guise of Caesar! He was hilarious!

I think the script must be countrywide Judthepud, the donkey and the innkeeper's wife were the other judges. I was gobsmacked at how well the tinies danced and sang.
