Thanks GrannyGalaxtica. I've just ordered three from Amazon. Fun Christmas pressies. You should be on commission.

GrannyGalactica Thank you so much for the toilet light thing... amazing. It is topping my gift list and all ordered!

Beloved bought me a telescope last year. It's been used once. It's either to cloudy, to cold, or there's something good on the telly.

DH gave DD one of those electric window cleaning machines. I told him he would be in trouble as she would say that was not a Christmas gift. She was thrilled to bits and even tried it out on Christmas Day.

Sorry that was what I received two years ago from DH! And it was very well received.

My sister bought me a book about baking soda one year. I have no idea why.

One year I bought my brother a gift box and inside was a note saying '' To the man who has everything, a box to put it all in'' He thought it was hilarious. grin

I have bought my son a pair of astro binoculars for star gazing. I don't know if he'll like them, but he said it gets pitch black where he is and he has always been interesting in space so I'll see how they go down.

Has anyone else bought any unusual presents that they don't know how they are going to be received? smile
