Good Morning from Cyprus. We have had a week of very welcome rain as the dams are down to 10%. Terrific thunder and lightening storms for the last 4 days and even snow on the top of Troodos. Long may it last. Temperature last night outside my back door -3 degrees C

I feel embarrassed at being so late, but good morning from my corner of N Bucks. The frost and clear blue skies of the last two days have gone and we are back to grey. Must get organised, I have been living in a fool's paradise that "it's ages until Christmas" but commitments are beginning to stack up.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A dull, cold start in South Yorkshire. Might try and finish off the garden tidying I started yesterday, but DH wants to get some of the Christmas shopping done. Where can I hide?? Have a good day folks.

The residents of Mum's care home were treated to a pantomime yesterday, they all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Morning All. Dark in our corner of Somerset. Much less frosty. Relieved that I can see to the end of the road as we had freezing fog all day yesterday rather than the promised sun. Off to help our housebound friend, so 3 hour round trip, better without fog. Hope Friday is kind to you.

It is still dark in North Leicestershire but doesn't seem as cold.

I have some cakes to finish off for the library sale and then I'm meeting DD1 for lunch - a real treat as we don't get together on our own very often. Tonight DH is going to the football so I'll get the house to myself!

Very very cold in the house as we've been away and DH likes to turn the heating off!
