Bit late this morning.

Bright and breezy on the South Downs, but very wet underfoot as it rained all night.

Just steamed the floors and will toddle out and plant some tulips. Colour theme for bottom patio pots is dark velvet reds and orange. Top patio pots it is yellow and white. What a lot of choice there is. I like them all and I find it difficult to make a choice.

Morning ladies. Sunny, windy and cold here in s scotland. Just going to make a pot of soup and then go shopping in afternoon

Will have a trip into town today as I haven't got any cards for the festive season, looked online but the choice seems poor this year.

Thank you for your concern. Fortunately this visit relates to an infection I had in June and its taken this long to get an appointment. It has all but cleared up now but the dentist still wants me to go. So here I am on the tram! I'm rarely even up at this time [ shock]! Mildred I felt like that a week ago. I've never known a birthday drag me down so much! Chin (or in my case chins) up!

Good morning, cloudy but sunny in Liverpool, rain promised for later. Off to town for a bit of shopping. Also lunch, Been a bit down being 70 now, 60 seems so young!

It's wet and windy in the Tyne Valley today. Must do some washing as I'm beginning to run out of things to wear! Also, talking of dental hospitals reminds me that I must make a dental appointment. I had a letter from them last week.

It is quite bright in North Leicestershire but there has been some rain.

I'm still not recovered from my uti and am having to cancel a night away in Cambridge. We have tickets for a jazz concert so dh will go on his own -every cloud etc!! Anyway, there is another concert booked for next week - can't wait!!
