Good Morning Everyone,
Its still dark looks as though it may have rained in the night as well.
This is my last Good Morning until Saturday, as I am off to Bournemouth to a Turkey & Tinsel.

Morning Mick, morning all.

I think we had rain too overnight but it's quite warm. I have lots of admin to do today.

We will miss you Mick enjoy your break - have you appointed a stand in?

Morning Mick

Enjoy Bournemouth and don't eat too much!

Just getting light. Not a lot planned today. Might go out and look for a splashback for new kitchen. I keep dithering over colour and material.
Enjoy your day everyone

Morning All. Grey and damping in our corner of Somerset. Allegedly mild, not sure I agree! Enjoy your break, Mick. Hope Monday is kind to everyone.

I'm sure someone will start it nina and we won't worry now Mick has mentioned that he is going missing.

I have not appointed anyone its a free starter, 4 days at Royal Bath have heard its a good hotel for those things like Turkey & Tinsel, its a coach trip which includes Poole and Weymouth as well.

Morning Mick and All

A bit grey here in the Thames Valley, which is a shame as I hear there is an especially bright moon due tonight.

Have a get time Mick. I love the Bournemouth area and have had many visits from the age of 3. Do have a wonderful time Mick and there is plenty to see in that area, enjoy Weymouth and Poole.

We will keep your place safe here awaiting your return next week. smile

Good morning all. Have a lovely time Mick.
My iPad keeps shutting down, it's a nuisance. Rain overnight in Lancashire too and not a good forecast.
Thanks for replies to my WW2 medal question I have looked at Imperial War Museum website. My Dad must not have applied for his medal.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from rainy Colchester. Family History Group this afternoon, so I will have to miss Walking Netball. Why can't we be in 2 places at once?
Have a great time Mick and bring us back something nice from Poole Pottery.

Good morning all.
It is damp in Stockport and looks as though we had rain during the night, everything looks soggy.
Washing today so the tumble dryer will be in use. My dishwasher gave up on Saturday,it has had a long life and a well used one so it will be replaced.

annsixty Mon 14-Nov-16 08:31:07

Enjoy your break Mick.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Another bright start in South Yorkshire but all downhill later, I gather. I was up half the night with terrible ringing in my ears. It's always there but this was horrendous. We are painting walls again this morning (I use the "we" in a purely supportive way as I won't be painting anything!”) and then have the school run this afternoon. Hope you have a lovely break, Mick, it sounds good! I'm never up early enough these days to start anything off, but someone will step into the breach ?.

Greyduster Mon 14-Nov-16 09:19:18

Nana3. If you think your dad was eligible for a medal because he served during WWII, I think you can still apply to have them. If you look on RBL - The Medal Office website it will give you an address to apply to.

A grey but dry Oxfordshire here, after all the rain on Saturday that's something (Sunday was a wonderful blue skied sunny day) no day is the same, which is why I love living in Britain.
The dreaded dental check up today (boo) but tbf have only had check ups (and no work done) for the last ten years,DH is envious.

Morning all from North London. Rain overnight here too. The forecast is cloudy all day then more rain this evening, so I doubt we'll be able to see the 'super moon' unfortunately. Hope everyone has a good day and that you enjoy your break Mick
