Ridden a bike after age 9 when I fell off and broke my arm!
Had a one night stand
Eaten oysters or tripe( cooked tripe for someone once, oh my what a terrible smell)
Gone up in a helicopter ( but would have liked too)
Gone on a cruise ( get seasick)
Watched Big Brother ( and never will)
Gone on holiday alone ( where's the fun!)
Smoked or taken recreational drugs
Used Twitter ( not interested at all)

I've never:
Had a tattoo
Thrown a dinner party
Been able to carry a tune
Climbed a cliff or a mountain
Had a white wedding
Attended a christening
Been to the gym
Gone to bingo

I am amazed. Of the lists here of ordinary things, I have done most, including having naughty time outside on a few occasions. I have rode a moped, been on the back of a motorbike (hence the naughty time), done the Big One at Blackpool, smoked a spliff, smoked, had sex outside marriage (legally, I had left ex husband, just not divorced), had a toyboy lover, went clubbing in my 30's.

I have not:-

Ice skated,
Hot air ballooned,
Been on a safari,
Been married twice (yet),
Screamed on the top of a hill,
Found myself in my 50's (again, yet)
Fulfilled my spiritual awakenings.

Oh- er rubylady whats the big one at Blackpool? ?

I have never
Had a root filling at the dentist, hope i am not tempting fate!!
Been on a cruise
Eaten an oyster
Sung in a choir
Acted in a play
Broken a bone, again hope i am not tempting fate!!
Been arrested
Earned a huge salary
Owned a property
Knowingly been horrid to anyone

I'm with you, rubylady so many ordinary things that people haven't done.

Like rubylady I seem to have managed to have done a lot of what others haven't but

I ave never played a violin
Been to Russia
Swum in the Dead Sea or with dolphins
Visited my sister in Doha
Been in one of those flight simulators
Had a trip on a 'special' railway eg through the Canadian rockies
Taken drugs, apart from the ones from the Dr.
Dyed my hair blue or pink or green
Used a chainsaw
Or owned a parrot

Never passed my driving test
Never been to Disney resorts
Never been skiing

So proud... I've never been in a McDonalds!
Never had long hair
Never smoked a joint (still time!)
Never watched The Apprentice
Never watched Dragon's Den
Never bungi jumped
Never skied
Never absailed
Never been to Australia
Never run a marathon.....

I have never :

watched Bake Off
been to Florida
been to a Gym
eaten a kebab
dived into a swimming pool
worn a wedding dress
seen a James Bond film
lived in a rural area
knitted anything
driven a new car

I have never told the truth to the chemists who ask if you are on any other medication.
I have never made a pair of curtains.
I have never managed to be slim.
I have never been able to read music or play an instrument.
I have never mowed a lawn.
I have never had a sister or brother.

It's funny isn't it - a whole lot of stuff (probably 90 % of most posts ) that others haven't done I have, and a lot of you have done what I haven't ?

been a bridesmaid
taken illegal drugs
been on a big dipper, or similar, at a fairground
hitch-hiked anywhere

hulahoop Sorry can't resist... have you used a hulahoop? Brings back great memories from the 1950s and now I see kids with them like them have discovered sliced bread or something.

morethan2 The Big One is the tallest roller coaster in the UK, although in 1994 it held the title for the tallest and fastest in the world. I'd always said I would never go on it, but I did, on a purely selfish visit without kids but a great day out with my ex boyfriend. We went on three times, it was fantastic and glad I have done it because since now having another heart condition, I have been banned from theme parks!

ruby I've been in a helicopter twice but even looking up at that Big Dipper put the fear of god in me.
And the only thing I've been banned from was the westcliff casino in Southend, and I used to work there! Cheek of it

I've never met my sister in law, she's been married to my brother for 45 years.
I've never been to Ireland where they live.
I've never been in a betting shop.
Never been in a helicopter despite Oh being involved with them for 25 years.
