After the loss of the 1983 election, caused by the party going to far to the left labour couldn't get reflected for fourteen years . How can you claim to have been a labour supporter during those years yet never mention how difficult campaigning for the party was?

One thing which is not my opinion but a fact, since Corbyn became leader there is a nastiness in the Labour Party which I have never experienced in fifty years . Many corbynites are aggressive and intolerant

With the policies that Labour had, they lost the last two elections. That was nothing to do with Corbyn. He increased his majority both times.

Anniebach All those aims that you list - "homing the homeless" etc. - are very commendable but you may recall that the platform upon which the Labour team fought the last election was to continue with the austerity policies of the Conservative government, with just some very minor "tinkering about".

We could try talking about policies instead of falling into the carefully set trap that began in the popular press and is continued by some people, who for one reason or another, choose to make it about the personality of one person. The problem is I suspect that actually the policies are the real policies of the Labour party and it is difficult to pick holes in them.
Anniebach do you really think that other party leaders (especially Tony Blair) didn't have lists of MPs who didn't agree with them?
