Noted with interest (not disapproval!) that none of this mornings posters mentioned going to church today......Haven't Sundays changed so much?

Good morning, cold and bright here. I am still in bed, resting up after GC yesterday. DH has the washer on so I am not in a hurry to get downstairs.

Morning everyone
We returned from a Canaries cruise yesterday to a dark wet miserable day but this morning the sun is shining time for a walk before tackling the dreaded washing!

Good morning to you all from sunny Wiltshire (albeit very soggy underfoot)
I'm hoping to get a bit more gardening done today; I suspect I'll end up plastered in mud!
Slow cooker on with a beef joint and veggies done ready for cooking later.

poppy and a day for thoughtful contemplation I think.

Good morning all. I had planned a bounce game of golf but it will be very muddy today. It's very grey and damp here in central Scotland. And I need to empty the patio pots and put into store so that will be the job of today. Maybe bake a fruit loaf. Have a good day all.

Good morning all! What a difference a day makes! Dark and dank here in Co. Down. Typical November day. Into the dark we go!

So sorry to hear about your latest burden Annsixty. flowers

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is shining here in South Yorkshire this morning. We were supposed to be having roast chicken for lunch today, but I forgot to take it out of the freezer last night so I will have to have a rethink. DH is pressing on with the decorating today. annsixty flowers. Nana3 medals were awarded for every theatre served in during WWII, plus a General Service Medal, so, as Pittcity says, there should be at least one. Have a good Remembrance Sunday everyone.

Pittcity Sun 13-Nov-16 08:54:16

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Was horrible and wet all day yesterday but it looks like it'll be fine for today's Remembrance service poppy
All who served in the World Wars should have at least one medal Nana3 , why not Google it?

Good morning all.

Dripping again in North Leicestershire but I don't care as all I'm doing is roasting a chicken and watching Strictly. We went to a friend's for supper last night and had a good catchup but I'm jiggered now.

Sorry to hear about this further buggeration for you, Ann. flowers

Good morning all. There's a beautiful red sky, hope it stays fine for the Rememberance Services. Did all who served get a medal does anyone know? I've never found one when going through my Parents 'stuff'.

annsixty Sun 13-Nov-16 07:25:29

I woke early consulted my weather report, that said, clear skies, donned my three layers, and headed down to the beach to get some lovely sunrise pics.... well I m back it was grey, dull, heavy skies without a break anywhere, now one layer off and gas fire on

Morning Mick and All.

Clear and cold in the Thames Valley today.

Will need to wrap up warmly for the Remembrance Service in town, then off for a hot coffee afterwards.

Morning Mick

Still in bed sounds windy out there and looks dull. Drat I wanted to do more vine clearing but hate the wind.
