Morning Mick, morning all!

It's cold in North Leicestershire and a little cloudy. We have to take DH'S car in for a service first thing and then I have to iron and go to the butcher's.

I had an awful night coughing and feel like a piece of chewed string. Nina, I hope your DD'S scan proved to have a good result.

Enjoy your Fridays everyone. sunshine

Morning, mick and kitty and all who follow. It looks as if we're in for a cloudy but dry day here. Wall-painting continues.

Have some late sun from yesterday afternoon when I collected Minibags from after-school supported study:

Although I am not religious I seem to have got involved with our church (I'm the treasurer) so I will be going along to prepare for the remembrance service this morning. One of the few services I will attend.

Morning All. Misty in our corner of Somerset. Busy day preparing for friends coming to stay for a week. Will stop at 11. Coughs are exhausting kitty, they seem to like the night time, let's hope yours can be evicted soon. Share your hope for nina's daughter, there seems to be so much about to worry people. Hope Friday is kind to you.

Good morning everyone

Get well soon all you with coughs and colds. Scans are what you hoped for and all things good for everyone.

I have a lame pigeon in the greenhouse which I put in there confident that I would soon find him departed this life, instead of which I now have a pigeon walking around the greenhouse floor and hiding behind all the stuff when I fight with the dog to go in there. Duncan knows the pigeon is there and the whole thing is becoming a debacle so will have to rethink what to do.

Mums today

Bright and chilly-ish but not too bad at all

Enjoy Friday -blimey don't the weeks fly by!!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is out in South Yorkshire but it is cold. We have nothing much planned today. I have to ring the doc about my X-ray result. The pain under my shoulder blade is not as bad as it was but is still there. Then, this afternoon we are picking GS up from school and he is staying the night with us. ?? Can't wait! Sorry your cough is still dragging you down, kitty. Have a good day folks.

Good morning everyone. Sunny and clear here in London and no rain forecast but it's a bit bloomin'parky smile

kitty I know that chewed string feeling after coughing all night. Tried various cough remedies and piling up the pillows so virtually sleeping sitting up but nothing worked till I found a medicine I remember taking years and years ago, and it worked a treat.

Have DGS again for the 3rd day this week as he's off school with Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease. Just one of the joys of living near the family grin Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning everyone.
It's bright and sunny now after a greyish start in Tynedale. I'm off to Glasgow this afternoon, visiting my grandchildren with a purpose this time. Tomorrow morning we are all going to an Ichthyosis day at an hotel in the city. Grandsons 1 and 3 have this condition so it will be interesting for them to meet others who are similarly affected. I usually don't take technology with me when I visit, so I'll see you all on Tuesday.
Have a good weekend.
