I love our JL haberdashery dept and I can't sew, knit or do anything remotely clever.

So many departed departments sad
Haberdashery going what next? They're not really proper department stores really any more. Lots of clothes and make up but fewer quirky interesting departments.

Just read an article in the DM to say there has been a stay of execution, for the time being, on Haberdashery. ?

I have read that the new CEO of John Lewis, Paula Nickolds, is going to remove Haberdashery and instead have Prosecco Bars and Bikini Waxing.

In theory the idea of a glass of Prosecco to revive me sounds great, but in practice I know I won't indulge as I will be driving and tend only to drink when I eat.

What would you like introduced or removed from your big store ?
