It was snowing when I went to work at 04:30, now it's raining but still cold. DS is 32 today, and is coming for lunch. I am planning a game pie with red cabbage and mash. I'll have to make some kind of cake too.

On a cheerier note I am finally going to get my hair coloured - I have wide, grey stripe on top of my head - and cut today. I can't wait.

Good morning, Michael, and all GNs. Cold, and sleety in South Yorkshire this morning. Still in pain. Managed (amazingly) to get a doctors appointment yesterday and she packed me straight off for a X-ray. I hope she's just being her usual overcautious self! Won't find out until Friday. What with that and the news coming out of USA, I feel like pulling the covers back over my head. Hope you all have a good day.

It's cold and wet in North Leicestershire, and in Derbyshire, which is no surprise as it's school run day! I've still got an awful cough and headache and the builders are in at DD'S house.

The new kitchen table is arriving today - can someone explain why I am so thrilled. I need to get out more!
