Many years ago my gran had a poodle toilet roll cover and when she passed away we inherited it. For a good many years it was 'regifted' from one sibling to another . Somewhere along the years it was mislaid so last year as a generous gesture {smile} I made snowman or Santa or Christmas tree toilet roll covers and now when we visit over the festive period we fine siblings who have 'forgotten' to display my hard work !!

I force gift a new Christmas Craft on them all each year . Its the benefit of being the eldest !

We were at a Christmas dinner a few years ago. You had to take a £10 present and we played a game. The first person selected a present and unwrapped it, if someone else wanted it they could take it, but a present could only be taken twice. When the next person unwrapped their present they could swap it, within the rules of a present could only be swapped twice. This game can be real fun and you can imagine when OH got a crinoline lady, he thought he would be stuck with it as all other presents had been swapped twice. However, the next in line swapped his present for this crinlone lady - he loved it!

My mum's neighbour used to make the crinoline ladies. I won't repeat what mum said when she unwrapped hers on Christmas morning. The delightful pink and purple creation went straight in the bin

You can make me one anytime N&G, they look fantastic. Maybe a very long body Father Christmas to hide a kitchen roll?
