Another word game - twenty questions

After yesterday's Twenty Hints on one of the threads, I was reminded of that old favourite Twenty Questions.
Rules reminders:-
Someone thinks of something/someone and posts a very minimal clue - just the category (person, film title, object or whatever)
Others post questions, to which the answer can only be "Yes" or "No" or guesses of who/what they are thinking of.
Questions are limited to twenty.
If someone guesses correctly within the twenty, they choose the next subject, or nominate someone else to do so.
If not, the answer is given and another subject chosen, either by whoever posted the unguessed one or by someone else who has been nominated.

I'll start it off - A person.

Birth certificate?
Historical record of some sort?

Wobblybits Sun 30-Oct-16 16:49:31

Not musical
4 to go smile

shandi6570 Sun 30-Oct-16 16:49:31

Oh I think I know, a newspaper

Wobblybits Sun 30-Oct-16 16:48:40

Just 5 to go now.

Wobblybits Sun 30-Oct-16 16:48:06

Nanna your post crossed so i will ignore it.

Elegran Sun 30-Oct-16 16:47:40

They are creaking.

shandi6570 Sun 30-Oct-16 16:47:35

Is it musical?

Wobblybits Sun 30-Oct-16 16:47:30

A piece of paper -- yes (but that is not the answer)

NannaM Sun 30-Oct-16 16:47:12

Do you wear it?

Wobblybits Sun 30-Oct-16 16:46:50

I can hear those little grey cells whirring from here.

Elegran Sun 30-Oct-16 16:46:19

A piece of paper?

Ana Sun 30-Oct-16 16:45:54

I'm sure specs could be classed as 'tools'. (or a tool?)

Wobblybits Sun 30-Oct-16 16:45:30

Specs, NO

6 to go

Wobblybits Sun 30-Oct-16 16:44:57

Ann decided it couldn't be a pencil as it it not a tool.

Elegran Sun 30-Oct-16 16:44:31

I take that back, it has already been established that it is not a pencil. Spectacles?

Elegran Sun 30-Oct-16 16:43:21

A pencil?

Ana Sun 30-Oct-16 16:42:50

Not a hobby in itself, necessarily, but something you would/could use while pursuing one. And you might display it, although Wobby doesnt...

Could be anything! confused

Wobblybits Sun 30-Oct-16 16:42:48

Oh yes and the comment about multi tasking was important.

Wobblybits Sun 30-Oct-16 16:41:30

Let me help a little.

It can be part of a hobby that we participate in.

The decorative element may mislead you.

Otherwise you have spotted the important clues.

shandi6570 Sun 30-Oct-16 16:40:39

Oh and I forgot to add you can't cook with it.

shandi6570 Sun 30-Oct-16 16:36:00

Let's recap as Wobbly suggests.

It's NOT: a tool, a book, a clock, a photo, a teapot, a mug, furniture and it doesn't switch on.

It is small enough to carry, usually used indoors, could be a decorative item, can be used as a hobby and everyone has one.

ALSO, he was using or looking at it between 15.08 and 15.48!!

I still have no idea, but maybe someone else has confused

Ana Sun 30-Oct-16 16:29:02

Sorry, got a bit carried away there... grin

Wobblybits Sun 30-Oct-16 16:28:15

Ana, calling me names won't help ( but I do have a Tee shirt that says I am a MUG, but that is nothing to do with this item (Maldon Ukulele Group)

Wobblybits Sun 30-Oct-16 16:26:27

All the clues to get you very close are here, I suggest you chat between yourselves and review what you know. You can chat here, I won't comment.

Ana Sun 30-Oct-16 16:26:14

Mug!
