Teddy has gone back to hospital with a chest infection and is on oxygen. 
DS1 has done that indoor Skydiving (is it in MK?) There are not many adventurous things he can enjoy with his disability but he has done it twice and thoroughly enjoyed it - go for it.
What have I missed? Is Teddy still in hospital? worried now.
I think I am just about to buy indoor skydiving for the 2 older little DGSs (not Flynn!!!)
If you have never seen it, imagine a wind tunnel turned up on end and "floating" on the jet of air. Terrifying, but DD assures me they would love it ???

Nandg I'm impressed with your handiwork and wish I was half as capable. I hope Jackson and his family are getting better. I seem to have gone from one infection to another and have found out today that Teddy has spent the night in hospital. He has had 2 colds since he eventually came out of hospital and he's only a month old!
Ann - the only answer is for you to drink more quickly before DH can get to it!

The care home visit went well. M and I sang a couple of verses of Campbeltown Loch (which the care home overlooks.)Two lady residents were very distressed and cried and shouted at the same time. Dementia is both cruel and degrading. Our pal confessed to having knocked his water jug over his poetry. All's well...I'm about to reprint and his wife is to have the results laminated.
dustyangel It is bright and breezy here in bonnie Kintyre. Though the temperature is a good deal short of the weather you're experiencing.
If you get the chance, sample Fever Tree tonic. It's by far the best tonic I've tasted.

I wish I could send you all some sunshine, we have had a beautiful day here, 22°C. At this time of year we never know how long it will last so just make the most of it while we can. I think I'll notice quite a difference when I'm back in England next week.
Like everyone I have to say poor Grace, though I'm sure she has forgotten all not about being deserted for the day by now. 
I want to also say "poor Daphne!" Not a very nice way to end an enjoyable day.
I am another one whose partial to a G&T. I've developed a taste for Bombay Saphire that I think it is due to soop's influence but the fact that Easy Jet only serve that on board might have something to do with it.
Our local, where we have lunch most Saturdays, has recently only had generic type tonic which doesn't reallly agree with me so I take a couple of cans of Schw.....s with me. They don't mind at all. I can't imagine doing that in the UK. As I seem to be the only person who goes there that drinks G&T maybe I need to develop a taste for the generic one. 
for all those with osteoporosis, it is bad enough being scared of falling because my balance seems to gone, worse when it makes a broken bone more likely.
I hope that I would be as brave as you in the circumstances ann. It must be so very hard not to have the person that you could normally talk problems over with there.

I had my lunch and a funny thing came over me. I left the dirty dishes, lazy mare, and de-cluttered the wardrobes and chest of drawers instead. It took ages with much climbing up and down a wee set of steps. If you could see my hair, you'd hoot with laughter. I shall therefore leave it to your imagination.
It's care home visiting day tomorrow. The pal for whom I copied out several sheets of poetry, looked a little peevish when I asked whether he was enjoying reading it. It appears that someone may have dropped the collection in the bath. Either that, or a jug of water had been knocked over. We had a brainwave - I shall copy the poetry out again, and have each page laminated by a man who lives in Tarbert. We shall overcome. A good motto methinks.
