Oh, good! Let's hope things can move on satisfactorily now.

Back home again. Our romantic break didn't live up to it's billing.

Our room was very pleasant with a view across the lake, but it was too far away for us to manage. We were also disappointed that we could not do or join in with so many of the things we had hoped. Mrs P got very down, this added to he constant pain she is in was too much.
We have 2 more Warners holidays booked, the lady in the holiday shop has reviewed our bookings and moved us into rooms close to the attractions (like the restaurant & bar )
We start our physio on Monday, so lets hope they can improve our situation.

I'm sorry your break didn't do you any good WB. Pain is very draining. I hope the physio does you both a world of good and you can enjoy your next break.

That's better soop. Don't think for a moment anyone minded you sharing your worry. Several heads are always better than one, especially a worried one

Sorry you have both had a disappointing week, wobbly. Can understand the impact, it's horrible not only to be in pain but to be frustrated at not being able to do the things that lift the spirits. Or indeed access the spirits . Sounds as if you will be better placed for your next breaks. The physio has got to help. Tell your physiotherapist it has to!

Oh yes and the earth moved for MrsP, she fell out of bed !, and she was sober. luckily she was unhurt, stirred but not shaken.

Wobbly I'm also sorry to hear that your wee get-away didn't come up to your expectations. It was an experience from which you have learned what it is that you and your wife need to help you to relax and enjoy all that your hearts desire. The lady in the Warners holiday shop is the best person to be of assistance in such matters. Better times in store. Trust me.
We all hope that you benefit from a few sessions with a trained physiotherapist.

I'm away for today. I haven't achieved much of what I had planned on getting out of bed. Some days are like that.

Sorry that this break did not come up to expectations but hopefully that lady has sorted the pair of you out re rooms etc. It is up to the physio now to get the pair of you moving.

soop at least you now have evidence that you had surgery done at that particular hospital and with luck things can now get moving but what a palaver. You know that us lot will help you any time that you want.

I would point out that we had no criticism of Warners Gunton hall. The venue was great, as was the food, entertainment ans chalet. I'm sure we will go there again. Had they not been fully booked they would have moved us closer.
When we have been to other Warners, our standard of dancing was below par, at Gunton Hall we would have put up a good show.

Oh, poor Mrs P!! for her!
It reminds me of when we had an earthquake in the UK while I was at work. My colleague's husband phoned just afterwards and asked her if 'the earth had moved for her, too' .

soop so glad your GP's records are good and that you are getting everything sorted at last!
Better than our GP anyway - when I went for a visit a couple of years ago because of a shoulder injury, the GP went through my records with me and some of the things on there (including operations!) did not relate to me at all. Apparently there is another patient on their books with the same name and someone transcribed the written ones on to the computer wrongly.

Charleyg The NHS will be mighty glad to see the back end of me. Roll on next month. All this business might be at an end. Whatever the outcome, I shall not be sorry to have much better things to occupy my mind.

My solicitor who is sorting out my will and LPA is so efficient I cannot keep up with her. The carrot at the end of her stick is payment. It is now out of my hands.

Charleyg A new week with new challenges. I'm about to log off. I've spent too much time on the puter. Washing machine needs emptying. My feet are cold. I have a pair of sheepskin slippers loitering in the bedroom.
