Off to Sussex to help with GSs until they fly off on hols for half-term, whilst we look after their house and have a little holiday too. Oh and celebrate our 45 wedding anniversary.

It looks foggy in North Leicestershire this morning. I have a day of driving around Leicestershire dropping off DGS school shoes which were left here when they went home, going to see mum, buying some t-shirts, going to the butcher's.

Can't really tell what the weather will be yet. GS having grommets fitted today. D had to go to London 50 + miles away at stupid o'clock this morning for it due to his heart problems.

It's dry in Tynedale at present, but showers are forecast for later. Bit of ironing to do today but that won't take long. I'll make some more mini stockings for DD's craft fair when I've finished.

Cold here in Stockport, just some shopping for the weekend and getting used to my new laptop which was delivered on Tuesday,hooray, my tablet is very small,just waiting now for GD to come and finish setting it up for me.

Morning, folks! This morning I have lost two long-sleeved T-shirts (baffling! Looked everywhere!). In other news, Minibags is vacuuming her room as I speak because she's off out with a friend and then they're coming back here for the afternoon. Hmm... must encourage more friend visits

Good morning to you all, it is chilly but fine here on the south coast, and we have our friend coming to do the last (I hope) of the heavy gardening today. Had a lovely day out yesterday with our friends, this always turns out a surprise, as we set off for one thing, then sort of wander off into another, so yesterday we popped into the D-Day Museum in Portsmouth for a coffee, and ended up having a browse, bringing back memories. Hope you get used to your new laptop Annsixty, get the grey cells concentrating! Have a nice stay in our county NanKate and Happy Anniversary. Enjoy your days.

Found them! They were buried in the winter jumper trunk, along with five others. I will now put some short-sleeved tees in there to make room in the drawer. So, next spring, when I can't find....

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Cloudy but dry in South Yorkshire this morning. My leg hurt during the night after our excursion into the wild yesterday. It obviously can't deal with rough walking yet - rather than my usual yomping about like a mountain goat, I tested every boggy step with my walking pole, lest I find another deep hole to step into. What a wimp . GS comes back today from his week away with the school. Can't wait to see him. Have a good day folks.
