Most colds in our family are brought by the DGC. The 3 year old is particularly generous. Is there really such a thing as a boomerang cold?
2DGC with me all day, so take away for us this evening too nina, thanks for the idea.

DH is going to footie this afternoon, and DD and her crew are coming over later this afternoon so I am doing a roast dinner today instead of tommorrow. It's a damp start in the Tyne Valley. Not exactly raining, just drizzle. It's supposed to clear up later, so we'll see. Bit of washing to do today, otherwise I will relax with my crochet. My contribution to the craft fair is growing nicely.

Morning All from a sunny corner of Somerset. Didn't make it to the supermarket yesterday, furniture moving took over, so best get there this morning or we're in for a hungry weekend. Forecast is brighter later and, at least, no rain.
3 year old DGD here from Yorkshire so want to take her to local park this morning for a mad run around.
This afternoon our local DD1 and her family are coming to tea as it's their daughter's 7th birthday on Monday. Lovely to have everyone together. Even better, all we have to do is jacket spuds and a trfifle, DD1 bringing all the rest.

Wind and rain here and I'm into common cold number five of the season (that's the common cold season I'm talking about which, for me, runs from late summer into spring). I haven't counted before but thought I would this year, out of curiosity.

I did no painting yesterday as I was tired after shopping and taking a soop painting (well, a one-off print of the original) to the framer's. I intend to paint this morning, probably before MrB and MiniB emerge from their sleep coccoons.

North Leicestershire is grey too this morning but the forecast is for a sunny day.

We are going into town for a few bits and pieces this morning and then a bit of gardening this afternoon.

My younger brother's only daughter had her first baby yesterday and there was a bit of a panic about his breathing. All looks to be ok so maybe he will stop phoning me now.

A grey, soggy autumn morning here in Norfolk. I've just read there's going to be a Super Hunters Moon to look out for this weekend. Fat chance with all this low thick cloud!

DGDog is coming to stay for the weekend and being joined by his boy (DGS) tomorrow as it's DiL's father's 70th birthday weekend and he's going to enjoy it! (There really should be a simpler title for the other in-laws.)

Developed a streaming cold yesterday - first one since I can't remember so back to avoiding shops and having it delivered. Don't feel too bad though.
I keep away from elderly Mum as a cold for her would not be good apart from the fact she makes a terrible patient!!!
Still no rain but some is forecast this weekend. Plants will be pleased.
