It's still dark and quite cold in North Leicestershire. There is rain in rhe forecast which is no surprise as it's my day for the school run.

Still dark here, and I'm still in bed. I haven't looked out the window yet but we are forecast heavy showers. Yesterday turned out lovely it's still mild for time of year here. It was 15c in my car.

A clear sky here with a few high clouds, but it was raining heavily when I got up an hour ago - another changeable day on the cards.

After a long weekend away at Minsmere (no internet!!) and getting wet and soggy a few times I caught up with the washing yesterday - sooo - today I shall be mostly ironing.

Still in bed! so can't report on the weather but it is still and no rain, getting chilly though.
Lovely lunch out yesterday with ex DiL and it really lifted my spirits. S was here to keep an eye on H.

Morning, folks! Cloudy but dry again. Woodwork painting will continue today and maybe a stint of gardening. I have sweated out (if you'll excuse the expression; it's exactly what's happened) the common cold virus and all its cronies.

I will also probably spend some time on the phone to Vodafone complaining about the delivery company they use here: dpd.co.uk whose van driver did not leave a calling card at my house yesterday even though it is claiming online that it did. ?
Tenth day of non-delivery and counting, Vodafone.

Good morning to you all, been away from Gransnet for a little while, not sure why or where the time goes sometimes - certainly not on the housework. Lovely morning here, and the gardener is coming later on to move a few plants, find I can't do a lot of digging these days. Enjoy your days.

Good morning from a brightening Colchester.Temperature is dropping daily here but no significant rain.
Older People's Forum run by our local Council this morning. I go to represent Gransnet Local. A talk on Alzheimers provision in Colchester today. This means I will miss my Wednesday coffee morning but tea and biscuits are free at the meeting, so not too bad.

Good morning, rained overnight but dry now and not cold.
Been awake since 5.30 result of sleeping for two hours yesterday evening after returning from the hospital. Procedure was fine, had sedation but was wide awake and watched it all on the monitor, super efficient brand new unit.
