Sunny here in Cheshire, but I'm going south to Berkshire. Am I being sensible to take my umbrella and raincoat?

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Another lovely day in the offing after a short rainy interlude yesterday.
Had a great night celebrating long service with London Underground. DH sat next to the MD and they were very chatty over quite a few free drinks. I think they put the world to rights!
Going into town with DS this morning for his annual eye test.

Good morning, another sunny morning here in the north east. Yesterday was mild but it was windy.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is out in South Yorkshire this morning, and set to stay with us. I am fishing for a few hours this morning - didn't manage it yesterday because I didn't feel too good. I don't feel that good this morning, but I'm going anyway as it is the last day of the river season. I wish I could sleep and wake up without feeling as if I had been rolled downhill in a barrel full of rocks! Have a good day whatever you are doing.

Some high cloud here in SE Hampshire but pale blue sky peeping through so looks as if we might get another nice day.

Having to administer lots of sympathetic attention to DH who lost a top front tooth recently and had the remains of it out and a partial denture fitted yesterday. It's very sore but looks a lot better than the big gap. He's worried now about how he can get it out in three days time as the dentist told him to do.

Grey here too. I think I'll need lights on for a while yet today. More terracotta wall painting is planned for later. I'm hoping it will distract me from my third cold of this month. I'm sure I used to have more resistance to colds. ?

Good morning from North Leicestershire where is is grey - again!

The computer man is coming to look at, and hopefully mend, my lap top and this afternoon I will volunteering with relatives of people living with alzeimers. I am in awe of the strength, humour and resilience they show.

Yes still darkish out. Sun forecast until about 11 then shower until noon then fine. I can live with that! Still about 18c during the day - what a lovely autumn so far.
