BRING BACK JING ASAP HQ.

Alima Thu 29-Sept-16 06:39:49

Totally agree kitty.

kittylester Thu 29-Sept-16 06:21:19

I know I keep saying that it's rude of newcomers to try to change things as soon as they join, whether it be acronyms or how we interact, but to report someone like jings without taking the time to 'get' her is pathetic. And hq shouldn't be so trigger happy.

ffinnochio Thu 29-Sept-16 02:18:32

Hey J , so saddened you've been banned.

High-five to you for your spirit!

Happy Birthday. x

Nobody? Thought not, Happy Birthday Jings.

Jessielovestuna Thu 29-Sept-16 00:22:03

Up here in Scotland we were taught never to clype. Too much sneaky reporting going on, and now look what has happened! Jings has been reported by ... whom?

Anyone?

Jayh Thu 29-Sept-16 00:19:32

Can anyone say what Jingle did to get herself banned? Or are we not allowed to know?

Agus Thu 29-Sept-16 00:16:29

I remember that too merlot. Mainly because Galen would refer to jings as rose on occasion

Agus Thu 29-Sept-16 00:12:28

I have had a break from GN, lurked a bit for a few weeks and can't believe all the running to teacher to report someone that's going on. FFS GNHQ, we are all adults on here, capable of handling things ourselves angry We are not in school anymore!

If someone has upset you on a thread....tell them. Really no need to go running to GNHQ

Happy Birthday Jings wine

merlotgran Wed 28-Sept-16 23:56:07

roses. I can't remember when you first joined Gransnet but jingl had just been put in the slammer and we all thought she was YOU. grin

Jessielovestuna Wed 28-Sept-16 23:51:09

No roses I am not Jings. I could never fill her boots xx.

rosesarered Wed 28-Sept-16 23:48:34

Jessie ..... hello, hello hello, are you in fact the reincarnation of jingl grin if so, love the new name.

Jessielovestuna Wed 28-Sept-16 23:46:36

Why bother to save a forum that champions my little pony and other knitting patterns?

It has become so boring. I won't be uprising. If Jings gets back I will consider it. Until then, I am going back to f**king MN, where reality reigns with sweary words and people saying what they think without sneaky PM 's and snidy little digs at other posters smile.

merlotgran Wed 28-Sept-16 23:31:17

jingl will be able to read these posts even if she can't reply.

Up the revolution!

Nelliemoser Wed 28-Sept-16 23:27:13

Happy Birthday Jingle.

Maggiemaybe Wed 28-Sept-16 23:15:18

Sod the petition. Let's start an uprising!

Happy Birthday, jingl, out there in the ether. Hope you see all these messages when you get back to us smile

Are you agreeing with me Ana, or not? To ban jings is wrong IMO.

glassortwo Wed 28-Sept-16 23:01:26

Agree Ana

morethan2 Wed 28-Sept-16 23:00:48

Oh I didn't read the whole thread. I often do that so only get half the story. I do hope she comes back. I love her one liners. I too hope she reappears. Shall we start a petition?

Ana Wed 28-Sept-16 22:58:43

The 'that should not be allowed' attitude is why GN is not the placed it once was.

morethan2 Wed 28-Sept-16 22:54:43

flowers for your birthday

Jalima Wed 28-Sept-16 22:53:29

Who was ignored?

Anyway, I had noticed that Jingls was missing but thought she was off on another little jaunt, lucky ducky

Jessielovestuna Wed 28-Sept-16 22:53:29

You see this is the problem with GN. Some posters think it is OK to describe others as nasty and vindictive.

That should not be allowed. That is a personal attack on other posters. A good example is describing a point of view as "truly distasteful", which I saw the other day. It was about sweets for goodness sake.

What right do posters have to say such things? Yes you will miss Jings and it serves you right.

merlotgran Wed 28-Sept-16 22:51:32

I don't post on Mumsnet but I like reading some of their threads and their language doesn't bother me one bit. I still have a foot in that camp when I feel like it.

At what age do we become only worthy of discussing topics in a way that never shocks and conjurs up images of sweet little old ladies sitting at a window watching the world go by?

Sod that!
