Ann60,

for you.
Professor Jason Arday - plagiarism etc
Has anyone else noticed their energy levels change as they've got older?
Well...Here we are again, happy as can be, all good friends and jolly good company.
I've been caught on the hop. Come on in and make yourselves at home.
and (((hugs)))
Ann60,

for you.
Have just this minute received a photo of our second eldest granddaughter together with her husband. They were married last year. Today they've been celebrating a cousin's wedding. I hardly ever see her wearing a dress. I think that this dress is beautiful.
Her sister marries her Dutch boyfriend in Amsterdam, next year.
NandG !! I bagsed him first, when my dgd and Torben were still toddlers so there! ?
'Where does salt come from?' she burst into tears and replied...'How would I know...'
You may find this interesting:
www.surnamedb.com/Surname/Salt
(I come from near there although my surname was not Salt!
)
Torben is a very handsome boy!
Lona I agree.
annsixty Bless you. May I join you? I've a very nice bottle of chilled white wine. Would hate it to evaporate.
Tizliz Such a clever cartoon.
Ann60. DLTBGYD..
Prize for the first to work it out
Thank you, Jalima
Nil illegitimo in desperandum carborundum
soop I love that dress, your gd looks beautiful.
ann You deserve a large glass definitely. I hope things will seem less stressful soon.
or something similar (DH is not here to ask atm)
Close,I was thinking "buggers" but you get the prize
Ann60, you should add financial. to political and religious threads that are to be shunned be the sensitive souls like us.
I am going to adopt that as my new motto, thank you Wb
Thank you for the bottle of wine Wobblybits
I will share it with you all
etc etc
Cheers!
annsixty the trouble is you can feel as if you're not entitled to have an opinion on anything without being shot down in flames being taken to task.
an extra large glass for you
DLTBGYD. I have no idea what you are on about wobbly. Did Jamila get it ? If so, well done and thank you for sharing
cheers to you too. I am not quite with it today. Slept in late and haven't caught up with myself since.
ann60 hope you are ok. You don't need any more troubles. Have you got a set of headphones you can put on to tune out OH. It's what I do
only kidding.
soop your family all seem so lovely. Torben is a little smasher and your DGD is beautiful. Must be in the genes
It promises to be a colourful sunset after a lovely, sunny day. MacSporran has been removing the huge, dying gunnera leaves. Can't remember the correct spelling. Could be gunerra
. He wheel-barrows them to the fence and hurls them on to the forest floor. The deer seem to enjoy them, especially when they are rotting. Seems that they must find them nutritious.
We shall soon be opening another kitchen. I hope that when we do, our Granspals number and Bellasnana enjoy some happier, more settled times.
Rory and Bracken are waiting for their maid servant to log off and attend to their requirements. Out with the well-warmed rug to give them some place cosy to sit. Bowls suitably filled with pleasing fodder. It's a cat's life.
Bye for now.

Thank you, Crafting
Crafting you have obviously been very nicely brought up
I was nicely brought up but my education was expanded by DH
Don't Let The Buggers Grind You Down
ann it sounds as though you need a bottle of wine with a straw if required. I do not have your patience.
John Lewis have just left, bringing my beautiful SMART TV but that bit does not work as the router is too far away from my bedroom. Apparently I have to buy a WIFI booster and an indoor aerial. I cannot use my Humax to record as it is used for something which is beyond the technically challenged. If my TV was not plugged into that I would only get 5 channels. I have spent a fair bit on the TV and extras already, I think I will be watching Freeview for a while.
It was a smart phone I was waiting for from John Lewis. I have had a museum piece for many years. I decided to embrace technology rather like you Charleygirl I must now wait for some help from someone brighter than me about such things.
ann you have my admiration for coping with the difficulties you face. The words alone may not help much but I'm sending you all the strength you want through the airwaves
Morning all !
So sorry to hear your DH is driving you to distraction Ann . He sounds like a toddler and having experienced a non stop talking toddler in recent days you have my sympathy !!I can't think of any way round it given his condition but understand how you must yearn for a little silence now and again x
Hope the painkillers have kicked in WB !
They look like a happy couple * soop* and your granddaughters dress is so pretty .
Lona well I shall have to cast my net wider for the Queen of the Universe then... There's always Prince George, a younger man but needs must !!
Charley if its not one thing its another eh??? Damn technology. When its good its very very good when its bad its horrid ;-)
We had another viewing yesterday and people coming back for a 2nd viewing on Monday so at least we are getting people through the door. Grampy says he is enjoying having a pristine house and we should always keep it like this ....I have such bad news for him !!
Its a crafty day for me today . I am making Elf Surveillance disks for pre school mummies to support the group. So Grampy will be cooking lunch!!!
Hope all of you have a little me time this Sunday ( even if you have to lock yourself in the loo ann
)
Silly me thought that I would get up early, make myself a cup of coffee and retire to bed, Tara in tow, to watch the morning news on my beautiful TV. It was no signal on every channel except BBC1 which was football and that does not excite me at any time, certainly not at 8am. At least the sound and picture are good but for the price I would have preferred marginally more choice.
N&G will lunch be edible? If Grampy wants a pristine house when you move, I am sure that all contributions of labour will be gratefully received.
ann you are welcome to come here, now that Tara has left one can hear a pin drop.
Oh the disappointment charleygirl I can feel it from here. Seriously it is blankety blank annoying to spend all that money and be no better off, especially as you had been looking forward to it for weeks. I do hope it is sorted out soonest for you.
ann60 had you ever thought about a dog (even a toy/stuffed one)? You could then disappear out of earshot the house for hours ostensibly for walkies but actually down the pub? Or you could send DH off on equally lengthy walkies -Labradors are hard to tire out, don't bother with a couch potato greyhound. My dad used to walk our spaniel off its little legs and I am suspicious that he may have been just trying to get sone peace from mum! Poor mum, on her own for most of the day she was desperate for company and chat but being German in a wee Scottish town in those days had few friends.
Now I am trying to decide whether to be responsible or not. Flynn's mummy has asked if I would like to go down to London on Tuesday (would I ever) but I have a bit of a snuffle. Do I put it off
or get stuck into the Lemsip today and hope it blows over?
Yep, you've guessed
