Dear number

You will no doubt replay the last few days over and over in your mind time and time again but remember the wonderful times you shared, the love you obviously gave to each other and the joy you found in the world from the moment you met.

Your love of David has shone through in your posts.

Love to you and your family.flowers

I'm sure you have reassured MrsP, pompa (that Wobblybits' nickname, newbies) and I hooe all goes well.

MrB flew down to London for a few days this morning. Left at 0530 and when I came down the back door was wide open. Fortunately it doesn't matter security-wise, but the temperature was very low this morning.

Minibags and I are both at home which, on a normal Monday morning, we wouldn't be but she woke with a migraine and went straight back to bed and back to sleep so this time she avoided the up-chucking part. She's okay now but she's having a day off school not least because I'm not in a fit state to drive twelve miles round the loch to get her there.

I'd normally be out at a day centre helping with some knitting but my common cold infection and a few bits of fruit and nuts affected my guts in the same way as preparation for a colonoscopy does. TMI already, I daresay!

In other news, two old ladies appeared. No-one except people delivering things and missionaries bother to walk up our hill on the bumpy track so I said no thanks and shut the door. They were even walking really slowly going downhill. Gotta admire the dedication, but still no thanks. Oh wait! We've had one politician in the ten years we've been here (a local council, independent candidates; the local butcher's dad). Normally it's just the postman and other deliverers.

Just returned from the Doctor with Mrs P., our next door neighbour was just going out and said if we needed any help her husband would help. Considering her husband is a chronic diabetic and only has one leg, that seemed like the blind leading the blind.

The Doc. has referred Mrs P for an x=ray and physio, I was amazed that Mrs P had never had an x-ray and was nervous.

Thank you all so much, you can`t know how much your kindness means to me.
Oldgoat, we`ve stayed at the Muasdale site several times, I can heartily recommend it. Adrian and Alison are a lovely couple.

Thanks for the warning about the Calmac ferries to Kintyre soop. I guess they don't release the 2017 timetables for a while yet. Last year we were thinking of staying on a lovely little caravan site by the sea at Muasdale. I rang the owner to check about availability and he told me that we would have to pay in full six weeks in advance. Guess he has had a lot of late cancellations if the weather turns nasty.I am thinking that May would be a good time to visit western Scotland, before the midges arrive and we have had reasonable weather in Scotland in May in previous years.
It would be lovely to meet up, if we make it next year.
