I want a thick phone NOT a smart Phone

"tablet"... Love it!

I've kicked the habit since giving up my work. NO mobile phone!!!

Not always at anyone's beck and call when I'm out, just landline phones at home. Glorious! Mind you, when I traded in my smartphone(and contract) I replaced it with a £10 payg. And it's pink. How could I resist?

I love my new freedom

I have a little Nokia, bought just last year, it makes and takes calls and texts. The only problem I have is the awnser service is in German, and no one has so far been able to change it!!!!!!! cost me 25€ with 15€ free credit.
It has a very handy torch but thats it.
I spoke just his morning to DD about getting a tablet, she just gave me a look and said remember you cannot take Aspirin, ha ha ha.

I have a Doro basic model too ( bought it after threw previous smart phone across the room after melt down trying to work it out ?? ) but I know they now also do a smart
phone I love mine even though do get p...s taken out of my by children and grandchildren .

In no way would I swap my Nokia

I bought a Doro Phone Easy at a garden show a couple of years ago. The only functions it has are a terrible camera and a radio that I've never been able to get any reception on. It's all I need. I only use it when travelling, and keep it on me at work. Hardly anyone ever phones me on it. They still make the same model.

My dear husband bought me a dora phone, with an in case of emergency system , calls nominated someone if i have an accident....., ( i wasnt pleased of course because i suddenly felt 20 years older than i was). Its incredibly basic, big buttons , makes and takes calls and texts, has a camera, and other than that, not a lot. Am certainly not addicted to it, no chance!!!

I know what you mean. I was dragged kicking and screaming to get a new phone this week. My existing phone was a smart phone and it wasn't all that smart so DH decided I should have an iPhone. The first day I had it, having had a nervous breakdown setting it up, I tried to ignore it. Since then, I have hardly had it out of my hand . I am a lost cause. Life was much simpler when a phone was only for calls and texts! I'm sure there are lots of "thick" phones out there to wean you off your smart phone - bet you don't desert it for long though! ?
