Thanks we've ordered a new router and decided to stay with BT as they have said they are going to be moving all their call centres back to the UK now. After we spoke to a technician in the UK, the problem was sorted pretty quickly.

We are with BT Openreach and have absolutely no problem either. In fact we are rejigging our broadband TV etc when dh retires and I'm pushing to move everything to BT rather than to sky.

I wonder why you have so much trouble with BT we've had it for years and apart from the occasional outtages which don't last long we've never had any problems with them.. my daughter has had problems with her Sky that they seem to take ages to fix.

I had sky until the box broke and they said they were going to charge me for a new box! told them what they could do with it. Then went to Virgin but they got too expensive, all I have now is freeview and that does me ok!

does anyone use sky broadband? Are they any good? We're with BT at the moment and they are a NIGHTMARE, thinking of changing over.
