Pleased you are pleased charleygirl, sadly don't think it was them, they are in first week back at school mode which means any request from a non teacher adult is ignored. Teachers are of course obeyed instantly
. We've got a swimming pool. No, didn't want one but the builders beautiful building is now full of water. So please, please someone tell me how to do an anti rain dance
. As the next stage is to take the (glass) roof off the old bit and then open the wall between the old bit and the new bit before roofing it all (mix of solid and glass) I'm off to find the wellies for next week

cornergran thanks for asking your children to do a mini rain dance because it worked overnight. With luck there will be more rain coming today.
Tara was attempting to attract my attention at 6.30am today by running at the mirrored wardrobe and banging against it. Then she attempted to drop my bedside light on to the floor but luckily it fell between locker and bed. I gave up at 8.30am and got up to let her out.
Well I guessed way back and nothing was admitted, was it?
Happy Birthday N&G a bit late but better late than never.
Let the birthday weekend festivities commence!! ???????????
The venue is much better thanks, quieter with no screaming children. I cannot believe that we will be meeting up fairly soon again, this month is flying past.
The Cavalier is often referred to as the 'trencherman' of dogs. Sam would certainly eat till he exploded given the choice Charley. I meant to ask how your catch up went this time and if you found a better venue ?
Sam is looking longingly at the food! Spaniels are so greedy!
I must be losing it, I had no idea until today when you mentioned Mrs.P then the penny dropped. Before then I thought that you were female!!!
That is a fabulous train journey- I hope that the weather is decent.
However much I would like to remain anonymous, I end up being myself and giving the game away. No, the uku has stayed at home.
Nor his wobbly bits it seems
.
Not that I'm saying they're spotty. I wouldn't know
. I don't want to know
A leopard can't change his spots!
Wobbly !!! I didn't know it was you! I never believed in reincarnation but after joining GN I may have to revise my opinion
. Nice to have you back in the kitchen again.
Been too busy (more hospital visits) to have posted recently but have been keeping up with things.
Lovely DGC photos from everyone.
Sorry for all those who have lost their beloved pets. It is so hard to get over the loss of companionship our pets give us.
Many happy returns nana. Nice cake.
Have a good weekend all.
Have you packed your ukulele for the grand suite Wobbly? Sounds a lovely birthday treat for Madame P. She will be thrilled!
Happy birthday N&G sorry I'm a bit late! Hope you enjoy your party tomorrow ???
soop Have a great visit (nearly put trip but you often take that literally! )
Wobbly are you trying to out yourself? I've kept quiet for ages!
Happy Birthday N&G!
Soop, have a safe journey and a great family get together.
Lovely to hear people are celebrating I style. Happy birthday nan, have a wonderful party. No rain dance, honestly
. Wow, wobblybits, how wonderful for you both. Soop a lovely weekend ahead, have so much fun, travel safely.
soop I hope that you have a good journey tomorrow and you enjoy the meet up with your family. If I remember correctly, Torben will not be there? Please rest if that is possible. There should be a rapturous welcome when you return! Us lot will look after both Rory and Bracken.
Mrs. P was 70 yesterday, we have booked a weekend aPullman dining package on the Blubell line which includes two nights in a hotel. Just booked into the hotel, which was very impressive, to be told that we had been upgraded to a suite. The room is among the best I have ever had in the UK. Perfect for madams birthday.
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday dear Nana
Happy birthday to you.
laughter and love. Have a perfectly wonderful celebration.
Us lot send a big group (((hug)))
Don't forget the pics. Although I won't be seeing them until Monday (off for family get together first thing tomorrow)
I haven't a smart phone or tablet thingy...I'm soooooooo last century. However, I know for certain that you lot will be looking out for each other.
Plenty of cake. Wish that I could leave you some bubbly. Maybe NanaandGrampy will have some to share.
It is a dreich day and the wind is wild. I understand that a few ferries are not running.
I now need to finish blitzing the house. Something that I feel compelled to do whenever I'm taking a wee break. Daft as a brush - me! Then I've stuff to pack. A few gifts to wrap and I shall feel in the mood for a Friday evening G&T. I'm so excited. You've probably guessed as much. After all, I've been banging on about seeing the family since goodness knows when. Awww.
Take good care. No need to clean the kitchen in my absence...just enjoy each other's company.
Until Monday. Bye for now.

Happy Birthday N&G.?
Happy birthday N*G*- My birthday is also this month but it is now only a number.
Afternoon!
It's all go here , so I'm not stopping but I have brought ??????.
It's my birthday so I'm sending all of you some of my birthday love from family and friends. Apply love to anything in your life that needs a little extra tenderness !!
Happy days one and all !! Catch up with you after my party tomorrow ( which is themed Florida Beach Party ...bring wellies thanks to the weather forecast lol)
Xx
charleygirl, not sure I dare!
soop Benni recognises her friends so is sticking to you like a limpet. She sounds adorable. I love dogs but could not look after one properly- hence madam Tara. She kindly woke me at 9.15am today otherwise I am sure I would still be asleep. I have some sort of sleeping sickness I think.
Birdbrain went out yesterday to do 3 things, pick up my prescription drugs, buy a loaf of bread and make an appointment to have my hair washed, cut and blow dried on Sunday. I forgot the last so I must do that today.
cornergran I agree, it is much easier men working in an empty room but it cannot always be arranged.
A lovely day here today, I may well be asking for a rain dance again if rain which is forecast tomorrow does not arrive. Maybe your GC cornergran as you are not up to it.
Good morning
Quick dip in before beginning to remove what seems like more dust than can actually fit in here!
lona, it's lovely to hear how well things are working out for you. Sounds as if you can manage the neighbours. Sometimes we get a nice surprise
, sometimes not.
.
Youv'e certainly got a canine friend there soop, sounds as if Benni is protective of those he loves.
n&g, lovely things planned. Enjoy it all
Oh well, best get on with the dust. We renovated it all when we bought it, just didn't get this part quite right. Had most of the furniture in store originally which was so much easier, all a bit squashed now. Few days break now until the next trades arrive, so once the dust mountain has gone can relax a bit. Off for a walk on the beach this afternoon so an incentive to get on with it all.
Have as good a day as you can everyone
