Good morning all. It's cloudy but bright here on the South Devon coast. It's still windy and has been all summer but pleasant if you can find a sheltered spot.

Hello from North Suffolk - was sunny but now several big clouds appeared ...don't think I'll risk putting my washing out just yet.

Sunshine but cold here in West Cumbria, but no surprise to hear rain is in its way. Since moving here last year from the south coast, it's done little else. Fed up of the rain now.

Good morning, Michael and all GN's. We have dull grey skied here in St. David's today. Rain is forecast. DD et al are going cycling this morning and DH and I are walking up Carn Llidi with DS and d-i-l. It doesn't look very high, but it's a good old scramble. We all had a lovely dinner out last night and opened a bottle of champagne when we got back! Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly, kitty. Hope you get to the bottom of it .

Not good enough Kitty, please arrange for better weather for N.L. We will be arriving for 2 weeks GP duty later today.

Gp for me this morning as I felt really ill in the night. Feeling a bit better this morning but decided I'd better see what's going on.

Lovely start to the day, but cooler than if late. I must say that August has been the best month of the summer to date. June was cold and July indifferent, but it has certainly brightened up this month although not boiling hot.

Beginning to pot up some plants to be given to DS today. Start with Bisorta Superba or "Geoffrey's" as we call them as we bought them in Geof Hammiltons garden on a visit there! They should do well in a damp part of DSs pond area.

Good morning from an unsure south coast weather wise, it might turn out brighter later. I am up late this morning, because I stayed in bed planning what to do today, then decided I should really get up and do it. Hope Ann60 is o.k. Enjoy your days.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Much cooler here today but I suspect still warmer than you harrigran. Jeans on for the first time in weeks.
Ladies coffee morning followed by shopping and back for Olympic time trial!

Morning everyone. Cloudy here again in N Shropshire. Was quite chilly yesterday so hope it warms up today. Dog walking as usual, then blood test, and then volunteering in Oswestry museum if there isn't too long a waiting time for aforesaid b.t.. Time trials on TV for me as well this afternoon Mick. Good morning, it is sunny here in the north east but I suspect it is not warm as heating came on during the night. Yesterday it did not get warmer than 12 degrees so spent the day indoors. Some summer, 90% of summer wardrobe has not seen the light of day.

After weather in Norfolk yesterday turning into a beautiful day and much better than forecast today, after a lovely start, has gone airily downhill and it's now pelting down outside, dark grey everywhere and no sign of the sun. Hopefully it's just one of the passing light showers the forecasters mentioned.

I'm leaving DH in charge of DGD2 and granddogs today and off to the Stately Pile to play the part of a poor maid traipsing round with a bucket of logs looking for fires to lay. A simple plot which should keep me ad libing for four hours! I shan't have to act my poor sore feet, the shoes I have are too small!
