Another wonderful morning in Norfolk, although there was a slight chill in the air when I threw open the French doors half an hour ago. Almost (briefly) Autumnal!

Off to DS new house this afternoon for a family BBQ. Hopefully he's managed to unpack all the necessaries!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Lots of cloud around this morning, but some blue sky peeping through. Not a lot planned for today. Hope it's a bit cooler than yesterday. We went out for a local walk and had to cut it short because I was exhausted, which is absolutely not like me. DD et al are coming round for lunch later and the GS will be staying over for his two day stay. Have a good day, whatever you're doing.

It is also overcast here. I haven't had my nose outside yet so can't comment on the temperature. I just know I feel exhausted most of the time from waking to going back to bed.

Morning everyone. Yesterday my husband and I spent most of the day looking at glasses! I need a new pair but just can't find a pair that suits and are comfortable. They are either too dark, too big or makes me look like 90! Went to spec savers and Boots opticians. Although eye test is free it is still an expensive item and also because I have to wear them all the time they need to look ok. Very frustrating at the moment!

Morning everyone! Yes PRINTMISS we have the same as you - cooler (bliss!) and cloudy. We could do with some proper rain - the gardens are very dry.

It is so nice to be able to do chores without breaking out in a muck-sweat. I know that supposedly horses sweat, gentlemen perspire and ladies glow but it has been too flipping hot for anything like a glow!

Good morning from sunny Colchester. It was very hot and humid here yesterday so not a lot got done. Will try to get out and about today. Hoping to get into town for the Sunday Afternoon park Bandstand concert as a friend's daughter is in the band today.

Good (?) morning all. Be careful what you wish for. Here it rained yesterday, it's raining today, it's forecast to rain all week and temps are struggling to reach 17C ?
Wouldn't mind a bit of your sunny warm weather. Even the dog was reluctant to go out to do her business this morning.

Planning to go back to bed as I had another night with little sleep. Not because of the heat though.
