Little Jimmy Osmond

I want to see a return of the pottery programme - thought that was really interesting (except the judge who kept bursting into tears!). As for masterchef - it has to be Louise for me too! Fingers crossed.

I now want Louise to win. As I said in my previous post I wasn't keen on Sid.

I wonder when Great British Bake-Off is back I really enjoy watching that?

I was a bit shocked that Sid Owen left last night. He was the best in the taste test. I thought he might win it. I now want Jimmy to win. Although they are all nice. Gleb was a bit too groomed for me, I like a bit of rough!

I am loving Celebrity Master Chef. Jimmy Osmond is very likeable. So is Audley the boxer - such a lovely smile - and I like Louise Minchin. Not sure about Sid (Eastenders) he seems to complain a lot. Mind you I REALLY missed Gleb the dancer from Strictly when he went. He is soooooooo good looking!!

Sorry but his hair is so obviously one block of colour which isn't natural on anyone never mind a man of 50+ . Hair isn't one colour naturally it has hues and different tones his does not .

Jimmy's got the same colour hair now as he always had. He's got different colouring to Donny/Marie. He's much fairer. I don't think he dyes it. I'm older than him and my hair's not grey yet.

He's only 53, why should he have grey hair? It was never as dark as Donnie's or Mari's.

We saw him in Pantomime a couple of years ago too, and I was impressed - took me right back when they included a few Osmond songs.

The boxer comes across as very nice as well - and so tall!

We've come a long way from my parents' generation, although my father could cook a rabbit stew. Even my ex has taken up cordon bleu cookery (I am told by my children) although I don't remember him cooking anything while we were married.

DD adored Donny from about 8 and goes to concerts when the Osmonds visit UK. Has met Donny and Jimmy and had no illusions shattered, both lovely people.

I always think that Jimmy comes over as a really nice person and he is one person who I would like to meet.
I don't mind his hair, - I colour mine sometimes...

We went to see Jimmy Osmond in a pantomime last year. We were not looking forward to seeing him.
But he was absolutely brilliant . I have never seen my GDs , 6 and 9 and their parents and aunt and uncle laugh so much. He was brilliant. Lovely person

I'm so glad they're back in vogue. Even Tesco sells some of the old "classic" LPs (Rumours and such like).

I had a very brief crush on Donny but soon moved on to the Sweet.

There was a late fifties early sixties portable record player for sale at the auction we went to yesterday. It went for the top end of its estimate. Records always seem to sell well too.

gettingonabit Record players are one of the most sort after items in my shop people ask for them every day, the 45 records sell out as soon as I put them on display they are a very good little earner for the Charity.
I've always liked the Osmonds LJimmy being the favourite closely followed by Donny.

Aash-those little record players! We had a Dansette. You had to be so careful with the records though.

I once got chewing gum on my cousin's 45 of Down Town. I still haven't lived it down..

Record players seem to be making a comeback.

Am I so much older ? My daughter was crazy about Little Jimmy Osmond and played Long haired lover incessantly on her portable record player - remember those ?
Agree about the hair but he seems a nice chap.

I was having my heart operation in Liverpool when that song was in the charts so he has always been a favourite, much more than his brother Donny. I do try to watch Masterchef but had to switch off the other day at the skinned rabbit! I'll have to catch up on iplayer.

I like him he always seems lovely but I do wish he would stop with the dyed perfectly hair not a grey hair to be seen it just looks so unnatural.

Little Jimmy Osmond singing Long Haired Lover from Liverpool was the first song I taped. On one of those reel-to-reel machines. I was actually waiting for Blockbuster by the Sweet. That would've been..1972 I think.

Watching it now. I'm rather glad he's doing so well - chicken Kiev doesn't sound all that exciting these days, but there are so many things that can go wrong with it, he did really well.

Can't say I feel that way about him, but he comes across as really nice bloke, I like him!
