It's really muggy in North Leicestershire but we did have some rain overnight. Today, we are going out for lunch with 3 of DH's friends from University.

We will also be waiting anxiously for a phone call from DD2. Yesterday she had to take her youngest (aged almost 3) to A & E as she had fallen off a scooter at playgroup and dislodged her nail. Today she is going to a hand clinic to get the 'nailbed popped back in'. It might involve a ga so Lottie has been unable eat or drink since 2 am. We spoke to her last night and she was very proud of herself.

Mummy and Ma are heaps of jelly as we don't do nails!!!

Good morning everyone. I've been out and it's sunny and fresh.
Our North West meet up yesterday was brilliant, it was lovely to meet such nice people and we hope to do it again.
Visiting Mum today and 2DGC staying overnight.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Muggy and grey this morning in South Yorkshire. We are supposed to be going to an auction this morning to bid for a pair of lovely marine watercolours, but I felt so awful during the night, and not too good this morning, that DH may have to go on his own . Hope your DGD's procedure goes okay kitty.

Grey and muggy here too. Slept very little . Off to review appointment so need to be in the hospital car park at least an hour early to get a parking space. I'll send good vibes to your DGD from the hospital. They'll get there faster on the hospital network.[encouraging grin]

If it's Durham university hospital, Stansgran, no problem with parking on Wednesday. Got there five minutes before appointment, at 11.25.

Bright, sunny start to the day in the Tyne Valley. Let's hope it continues. DS coming for lunch and to pick up his car which is in for it's MOT. I think my vacuum cleaner may be broken, it has plenty of suction but isn't picking much up. I cleaned all the filters (3) last week, so I'm puzzled.

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. Warm and still but no rain.
Pottering this morning as DH has just finished a week of night shifts and is sleeping it off until noon. DS will be home from school soon after as it is end of term. I have both of them at home for a week until DH goes away again, I may be a bit frazzled!

Nearly good afternoon, but been away a little while, just thought I would pop in to say hello.
