Good morning from a hazy skied Colchester. Late up after a very hot humid night to a much cooler morning. No storms though. Nice enough to be breakfasting in the garden before tackling the hoovering and ironing that it has been too hot to contemplate so far this week.

Good morning, it is a lovely sunny day in the north east. Feel completely rested this morning, kept the Dyson on all night and it kept the bedroom comfortable.
I think a visit to the seaside would be nice today and perhaps fish and chips in an excellent seafood restaurant. Tomorrow is the start of the air show weekend so it will be busy and noisy all weekend.

Good morning, Michael, and all GNs. Bad news about your bus service; they are cutting too many services up and down the country - bean counters only use cars! Hot and sunny here in South Yorkshire this morning. I really hope it might cloud over a bit later. There is an antiques auction this weekend and we are off to look at some of the lots this morning. Good morning everyone.
I'm very late up after a sleepless early part of the night. Last time I looked at the clock it was 02:30. It's a good job that it is my day off! Hoovering and dusting to do today so I'm glad that it's cooler than lately. We had a magnificent storm yesterday morning, thunder and lightning lasted a good two hours.

Sunshine in Cheshire. If this goes on, my tomatoes might ripen after all . I've done some ironing ready to pack for my trip south tomorrow.

I've just picked my first ripe tomato. I'll have it with olive oil and homemade bread tonight.
