Good morning Mick, morning all.

It's a lovely bright start in North Leicestershire but already really sticky. I'm meeting a friend for coffee in a new coffee shop/deli this morning but that's all.

Lovely start to the day. The open treasures exhibition at the Cathedral is having a viewing for volunteers and I'm hoping it won't be too hot walking up there. Wedding anniversary today 47 years. I'm hoping I haven't missed a gift opportunity but I've run out of ideas for the garden .

Another wonderful Mediterranean morning in Norfolk.

DH has been given new medication which seems to be working already - so fingers crossed. He felt so much reassured after his hospital visit yesterday we went raspberry picking. So yesterday evening was spent jamming. Of course, inevitably, it hasn't got a good set as I tried to rush it. So I'm standing here stirring the pot again!

Then we're off for a day on the boat. I had hoped for our first overnight stay, but his health - and our son needing to move his family in a hurry (due to harrassment) has knocked that idea on the head!

Enjoy the heat while it lasts folks. It's a good excuse not to do much!

Blue sky all the way here in Stockport. "Sort of" GD, nearly 12, here for a few hours today as mum has a few hours in work and she has finished school. She is a dear and easy to entertain. So sorry about your son and his family nfk the stuff of nightmares.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Wall to wall blue sky here in South Yorkshire and set to be hotter than yesterday. At least we'll have some shade today. It was a bit relentless on Bridlington beach yesterday! Second day of GS being here. Maybe swimming this morning and then I have an appointment with the dentist this afternoon. Glad to hear your DH is feeling better Nfk. Enjoy your boat trip!

It was very foggy at 04:00 when I went to work. It's lovely and sunny now, and quite warm already. Cleared the ironing yesterday, so nothing to do today except enjoy the summer weather.

Good morning from gloriously sunny Wiltshire, we've a lovely slight breeze here on top of the hill too so it's perfect.
Been pottering outside since 7, just made a tray of muesli flapjacks so ready for a coffee and a taste of something different.
Need to put the washing on the line too nearly forgot!
