Embarrassing dilemma

Moral of the story always always carry tissues with you!!!! lol

No tissue in your handbag. Tsk! Definitely not option one. Option two, at risk of a) ridicule if caught b) dislocating something. Have to be option c) after a bit of a 'shake'! As you can tell, I too had no tissues in bag on one occasion! If number twos! wait in cubicle, until friend comes in to see if you've fallen down the pan, and shout 'get me some tissue from the next cubicle and shove it under the door'! No phone? I got locked in the loo once. Rang my sister, who got the manager, opened it from the other side!

breeze the op says her friend had the bags outside, presumably her handbag was one of them.
I'd have pulled up my pants n trousers and gone into the next cubical. If anyone saw me I'd simply and say 'no paper'

I had an allergic rhinitis for many years after using perfumed shake and vac on a carpet.
Since that I have always gone out with several packets of tissues in my bag or the car.
It's not too bad nowadays but at its worst my nose would suddenly block up inside and literally stream like a tap.
It is embarrasing though.

A very posh voice from next cubicle said 'Would this help?' and a hand appeared under wall proffering a wodge of paper !!!

Some time ago I was working in Mexico where the paper was always outside the toilets. You had to remember to take some in with you .Nine times out of ten I would sit down and realise I had forgotten the paper. I never did seem to get the hang of it !

I'd go for Option 1 - all women together sort of thing!

Honestly-were you not a Girl Guide, be prepared and all that? Lol!

When I was a Guide, we were required to have a clean pocket handkerchief. Wouldn't fancy using one of those in the loo - though if desperate enough...

I always, always check there is paper before I sit

Similar today. I had a spat with my son in car park of hospital so sent him home. Got to waiting room and started crying. So, for once, no tissues but felt a bit embarrassed as tears fell with no tissue. I'm not usually that emotional but I think the appointment had got to me too.

I think it depends on what you had done in the toilet. If no. 1 then shake and sort later, if no. 2 then pull pants up lightly and go into next cubicle for paper or just clean up in next cubible. I'm sure you weren't the only one who has been caught short. Something to laugh about at a later date.

Always carry a small bag with baby wipes in it.

Yes, has happened to us all at some point or other- both the tears and the lack of WC paper Since my knee op I often go out with OH without my bag as it was impossible on crutches and then sticks- and it happened to me not very long ago. Oh the shame of the 'trousers just pulled up enough' to be able to go to next cubicle and hope there is no-one around
