Many years ago absentdaughter went on a school trip to the Isle of Wight and came back with a suitcase full of bed bugs!

A friends GS was there last week with school.. D went with school too. Obviously the place to avoid in the weeks before end of term

When I was 15 I went away with a friend and my granny gave me 5/- to spend. I' d never ever been on holiday and had no idea people brought presents home. My mother told me off for not spending my 5/- on a present for Granny. I've felt so bad about that ever since.

Many years ago my DS went with the school to the lovely Isle of Wight. He came back about 4lbs slimmer with all the walking and activities. They stayed in a hotel which had a lot of pensioners and the kids joined in the evening entertainment. My DS was taught the waltz by one of oldies. They all had such fun.
