Glastonbury (the town) is my family home, it was absolutely chaotic yesterday with the roads gridlocked. Caused a lot of problems but a few laughs for locals, it's amazing how many people think the festival is in Glastonbury. People were getting off coaches stuck in roads near the town to walk (Pilton is 6 miles away)and someone heard a girl in Tesco saying, to someone on her phone, that she was in Pilton Tesco. He just laughed to himself and thought "ooh nooo you're not, long way to go". My cousin lives in a village on Mendips and the traffic was at a stop/start along their road. One chap was moaning that it had taken them 8hrs to get that far, from Manchester, then his wife realised she had forgotten the tickets!! You can imagine what was said. Kept my cousin amused for hours.
and the volume up loud.
