What you need Jane10 is a 'staycation'!

If you don't want to go anywhere how about lovely food cooked for you, movies or programmes of choice on your tv. Everyday chores done for you. Beds turned down, with a chocolate on the pillow.

Switzerland and the glacier express and then to see the Northern lights. Snowmobile and dog sleds included. A dream come true.

Nope. Still just not tempted. It'll wear off I expect.

Scilly Isles in May, in a simple but stunning cottage - thanks. No need for servatns just a little car to get around, or if my knee is better, 2 bikes will do.

Or New Orleans and Memphis will do smile

In that case Jane book an exciting holiday.... White water rafting, a diving holiday in Barbados, crossing Egypt on a camel, dog sledding in Alaska ( mind the bears!) etc.

Jane10 Sat 18-Jun-16 18:28:46

That's a ! btw

Jane10 Sat 18-Jun-16 18:27:42

Och. I can't think where to go. I'm just so pleased to be back home after our recent, perfectly nice but boring, holiday?

rosesarered Sat 18-Jun-16 18:22:10

Grandmattie sorry, no teleporting allowed ( even if it were possible!)grin
However, you may go anywhere in the lap of luxury.

I was watching a programme this week - Millionaires Holiday Club or something. The opulence of the holidays these people take was breathtaking. I'd like one of those please! If not, I'll go back to Venice (for the 5th time) but stay in a very expensive hotel which we have never been able to do. smile

I have never been to Hong Kong but that would be my ideal trip, especially as I would be going 1st class with somebody to carry my luggage at both airports and escort me, chauffeur driven to the hotel.

NanaandGrampy Sat 18-Jun-16 17:58:48

Oooooh I would like a stinking great Winnebago please , DH will drive - our route ...The Great Smokey Mountains ! I'd like to stay at the Westgate Smokey Mountain Lodge . I'd like to go at the time of year the butterflies are there.

Then ( it's a 2 centre holiday) , I'd like to fly down to Sanibel Island in Florida and spend a week in a beautiful cottage on the beach watching the Dolphins.

Ps I'd like to fly first class with Eithad :-))

Me? I would go in late September when its not too hot, along the Silk Road from China to Turkey.. it has been my adult dream. Naturally, I would have a multilingual guide, a chef, a chauffeured car/bus/van, and sleep in a yurt.
Alternatively, see the Aurora in Argentina - no cruising [I'm dreadfully seasick].
Or... visit the Galapagos islands [and Antarctica] - i would be teleported there, due to seasickness...
As a child, it would have been to go to Kashmir on the lakes.

A few weeks in a Scottish castle (preferably one with central heating!), with its own salmon river at the bottom of the garden, the services of a ghillie, luxury dining (no haggis please) accompanied by the finest wines and malts.

I've never been to the USA.
Please can I book to see The Grand Canyon, and all the other beautiful open spaces. I'm not interested in the big cities. I require a private helicopter and a classic car with a chauffer for when I'm fed up of driving and a trip on a greyhound bus. The third week will be spent cruising the Hawaiian Islands, on a private Sunseeker yacht. With a first class chef in board.

chloe1984 Sat 18-Jun-16 16:36:43

rosesarered Sat 18-Jun-16 16:33:18

Start packing folks!☀️

tanith Sat 18-Jun-16 16:29:52

Australia for me with either one or both of my daughters it would so lovely to spend 3 wks with them and Australia would be the biggest bonus ever, hire car and all hotels and internal flights booked for us. I've wanted to go for a long time and now I'm really excited.wink

Cherrytree59 Sat 18-Jun-16 16:27:55

Borneo to see the Orangutans

Someone to carry the luggage through the jungle

A sudan chair for when I get tied.
Will GN throw in a new camera please?

DH says he would like to come as well.
sunshine happy days!

tiredoldwoman Sat 18-Jun-16 16:27:08

Christmas in Gdansk , real fires, snow , real Santa . Thank you GN !

rosesarered Sat 18-Jun-16 16:18:34

Imagine that GNet is paying for a holiday for you and DH or another person. It would be for 3 weeks or less( your choice) and it could be anywhere and any time.Money is no object btw.
So, I would like the full 3 weeks, in September, ( from Sep 1st) in a beautifully appointed villa in Madeira, with a hire car, maid service and cook.I can't wait ! smile
